Jasmin shrugged. "Hey, the hand prints wouldn't have been there long anyway. I am supposed to wash your alt mode after this after all." Yes, she still planned to hold true to that, it was the deal after all and after how kind he was being in helping her and even going somewhat near the Autobot base he deserved at least a good scrubbing. "I'm not that picky with what I eat. Food is food, something with plenty of sugar or carbs would be ideal seeing as how I haven't slept in the three days it took me to get here but whatever we happen to pass by along the way will work just fine. And I wasn't planning on spilling anything in there, that'd be a waste of food yo!"

Knockout smiled at that "Alright then, if you have been awake that long then coffee may be a good idea. Well, let's get on our way shall we?" he asked, gently scooping her up and setting her back on the ground before transforming into his alt mode, a nice, custom built two door sports car styled after European designs. His holoform activated then, leaning against the front of his own hood "Well, what are you waiting for, get in." he said, his holoform walking to the driver's door as both doors opened, his holoform sitting in the driver's seat, figuring it'd help avoid any possible issues since he did have a passenger.

Jasmin nodded to the suggestion, she normally didn't drink coffee but it got the job done, it was sure going to keep her awake long enough to last the ride home. "Sounds good to me. I know McDonalds has coffee for, well, cheap as hell honestly. Or if we stop at an actual coffee place most of them have pastries and stuff." Her eyes widened a bit seeing his alt mode, a smirk slowly growing into a grin as she walked around to the passenger side a bit slowly taking a good look at the vehicle. "Dude, niiiiiiiice alt mode... You were not kidding about being a car enthusiast."

Knockout's holoform chuckled a bit, looking at her when she got inside "Hey, I have style." he simply said before nodding a bit "A coffee shop could work if it's pastries and stuff like that you want. By the way, so you know. . ." he said, resting an arm on his own steering wheel as his alt mode started up and both doors closed once she had settled "I use the name Joey for my holoform, to avoid odd looks while we're getting your food." he told her, pulling off. Coffee shop, he ran a search on the nearest one, setting course for there as he switched through channels on his radio, finding an alternative rock station playing a song he liked. "So Jasmin. . ." he began as he looked forward once more, letting a hand rest on the top of the steering wheel to give the illusion of driving to any who may see him "How old are you anyways? You look about 18, but that is only a guess."

"I'll say you do." she agreed. She listened to as he explain about his holoform. It made sense, a good number of the Autobots used alternate names for their holoforms that sounded a bit more like normal human names so as to not raise suspicion. It made sense that a good number of Decepticons would do the same, especially those who would partake in activities with humans more often. "Joey, got it. And you're close, I'm actually 17. I'll be 18 come January so you were really only off by about 5 months there. Not bad. Why do you ask anyway?"

"Just wondering is all. I know some strike out on their own young and was curious if that is what you had done." he said, though in truth he was also wandering because she was attractive, and he had no issues flirting normally, but, 17 was a bit too young to him, even if only by, as she pointed out, 5 months. Meaning she was safe from any attempts at courting from him. But either way he intended to help her out here. "I tend to be good at guessing human women's ages, so was curious." he added as he got back onto the street, the seatbelt on the passenger side snaking right over her and attaching at the bucket. "Trust me, you'll need it." he said, smirking before opening throttle and fast down that road. Knockout didn't care much for human speed limits, he was good enough to dodge any cars he did see, though at this time of night, he didn't expect there to be many.

Jasmin leaned back in the seat a bit to relax. "I guess I sorta did strike out on my own young, though not entirely by choice. Grew up in the Detroit ghetto so I had to learn how to handle myself even as a kid. Been kidnapped and used as a hostage, mugged, shot at, few other things I'd rather not recall..." She paused for a moment and then shook her head before she said too much. "Go figure though that the skills I learned going through all that growing up are what got me out of the mess that got me out of that mess. Bit of an irony to it all..." She looked at the seat belt in a bit of surprise as it snaked across her. She knew Cybertronians were quite capable of such things but she usually got some warning before hand. But when he took off like a shot her face lit up. She loved the sensation of high speeds, it was one reason she loved racing. The freedom and the thrill at the same time, it was something she seemed to live for.

Knockout had to chuckle a little seeing her face "Yea, you're a thrill seeker. I can see that much already." Joey said, looking over to her "I won't be going this fast once you have your food though, so you can eat without making a mess in my alt mode." he told her, smirking a bit. Though, in the back of his processor, something triggered, he could very easily restrain her, if she was close to the Autobots, close enough to live with them, she could be a useful bargaining chip. He could incapacitate her easily with that tazer he had in his dash. It would be easy and, if he pulled it off, got some sort of information or even trade her for an Autobot captive, Megatron would likely be pleased. He glanced over at the girl again. But she was so young, happy, full of life and, most of all, seemed to trust him, he couldn't betray that, could he?
The internal conflict made him go silent for a bit, thinking on it. Part of him said to use her, to take her as a bargaining chip, to use her connection with the Autobots for his own gain and the gain of the Decepticons, but another part of him, it told him to protect her, to be sure she got home safely, to preserve her life and her happiness. The conflict in his processor grew as he went down the road, his holoform flickering out due to the fact his very spark and what his processor knew were fighting, making his energy levels a bit unstable. His very processor was becoming unstable due to it. He pulled off the road then, suddenly, his rear end skidding to a halt with a groan from his vocalizer. A spark show across his hood as the engine died for the time being, all the electronics on his dash, the floor lighting, everything. The conflict had grown so much and so quickly, him fighting off the voice in the back of his processor that told him to harm her that he had fought himself into a processor reboot without even realizing that was what he was doing.

Jasmin grinned back at the holoform. "Hey, that's fine, I can understand that. At least I can enjoy the speed up until then, right?" Part of her wished she could roll down the window and stick her head out, to feel that intense wind against her face and get the full sensation of going this fast. She had a feeling that was not about to happen though, if he was concerned enough about her safety to insist on a seat belt sticking her head out the window was likely out of the question.
After a moment she realized something though, it had gotten oddly quiet. Something seemed off but she had no idea what it was. "Dude, are you okay?" she asked, looking over to the holoform only to see it flicker out. Her eyes widened a bit in shock at the sudden disappearance. "What the-?" Her outward thoughts were interrupted as she yelped in surprise when he suddenly pulled off the road. She noted the groan and the sparks dancing over his hood and then everything just seemed to stop. "Dude, what happened? Are you okay?" she asked a bit panicked. "Please be okay, man, I don't exactly have anyone I could call who would likely be your friend you know..."

Soundwave, like always, watched the world below him, monitoring, observing, recording. He didn't care that Knockout had snuck out of the base on one of his racing forays yet again, nor did he really care that he had picked up a human and was driving off with her. To Soundwave, it didn't matter whether Knockout interfaced with other Cybertronians or with humans, they were only ever one time flings and then they were gone just as quickly. But seeing the sparks across Knockout's hood as he pulled off the road and shut down had the Communications Officer curious and a little concerned. Had the human done something to him? Unlikely, considering that Knockout was fully capable of protecting himself against humans. He frowned at the situation, wondering what had happened to the medic. He reached out through his symbiotic bond, contacting the one nearest to Knockout's position, Laserbeak. //~"Observe and assess Knockout's situation, lend aide if required."~\\ he commanded the avian symbiote.
//~"Yes, Master."~\\ Laserbeak responded and diverted his flight path to intercept the red mech. It didn't take him long to locate Knockout and he swooped down directly over the red car, then angled upwards and turned in the air, flying back to land in front of the vehicle. Seeing the human inside, Laserbeak moved around to the passengers side, peering in at the human female suspiciously. "Hello there, little girl." he purred darkly. "And what precisely are you doing to my friend here?" he asked, letting out a chittering hiss, his forked glossia flicking out like that of a serpent's tongue as he rested his wings against Knockout's side, looking at the girl as if he was contemplating eating her. Laserbeak was rather a dark minded avian, though his loyalty to Soundwave was absolute. He had nothing against humans, per se, but he was not too keen on the little fleshlings causing harm to members of his kind, especially ones that Soundwave had taken an interest in, regardless of the direction of that interest.

Knockout's systems began to self diagnose as they began sorting themselves out to attempt a restart. It was gradual but the lights on his dash came back on soon enough, even if they were dimmer. His processor was reeling, he hated when that little confliction glitch happened, had no idea why it happened, not like it was very common but when it did happen it always threw him. He was only faintly aware of the wings at his side, hearing Laserbeak's voice. . .wait voice? He had rarly ever heard the avian talk to anyone but Soundwave. However Laserbeak was going to scare the hell out of Jasmin at this rate so he groggily, half groaned half said "It's alright Laserbeak. . .it was my glitch. . . it picked a bad time. . ." he informed the little avian before he tried to start up his engine once more, getting only a click and nothing more "Oh, well this is great." he commented, doing another self scan now that he was more aware before sighing heavily. "Blew a few circuits this time, alt mode engine and transformation sequence are both offline. And to think this began as a nice night."

Jasmin thought in the unnerving silence, trying to figure out some way to help Knockout that wouldn't have too much in the way of consequences or possibly be somewhat intrusive. A somewhat interesting noise jolted her attention forward just in time for her to see the avian Cybertronian land and she had only one initial thought. {"Okay, that thing is cool."} She watched as it came around to the passenger side, her eyes narrowing slightly as it called her 'little girl.' It was obvious by the tone and mannerisms that it was trying to intimidate her, which was not about to happen. She'd seen enough similar behavior from humans with what she'd been through and it didn't work coming from them. Fear and panic only served to work against oneself in this kind of situation, which was why others tried to provoke it. She understood this and was thus able to overcome the attempt. She also knew that most of those who used this tactic were shocked as all hell when it didn't work. She looked the avian straight in the optics, fierce and fearless. "I didn't do anything to him, and I'm no 'little girl' bird brain. He was helping me out and giving me a ride when all of the sudden something just happened and I don't know what. Now cut the crap and the empty unspoken threats. I'm in his alt mode which means you can't get to me without ripping through him and if he really is your friend you won't want to do that. You'll also want to help me figure out how the hell to help him and get him back on his feet."
She then saw the lights come on dimly and not too long after she heard Knockout's voice, letting out a sigh of relief. "Oh good, you're okay..." she said just before hearing the failed attempt at an engine start. "Fuck, spoke too soon, well at least your better. And, out of curiosity, how exactly do botched plans make a night off to a nice start?"

Laserbeak churred in amusement. "Oh, so testy little girl. What I might want and what you may believe are oh so very different, child." he responded, clearly finding her attempt at anger and bravery to be rather entertaining. ~"Should I call for my Master to attend?"~ he deliberately asked in Cybertronian, deciding to ignore the human female for the moment as he moved forward to peer at Knockout's head lamps and grill as if inspecting him, one wing draped over the front right fender, the other extended along Knockout's front bumper, careful to not scratch his paint job, considering how volatile Knockout's temper was in that regard was something every Decepticon was well aware of.

~"As much as I hate to admit defeat, I'm not going anyplace under my own power right now, I know Soundwave sees everything and knows about the girl, but just ask him to try not to freak her out too much. Please? She's kind of interesting, spunky little thing as you can likely tell. Tell him I could certainly use the help."~ he told Laserbeak before returning to English and addressing Jasmin "Hey Jasmin, a friend of mine is going to be coming to help me, he's big, he can look scary to some humans, but if you don't give him a reason he won't go after you. And don't mind Laserbeak's mannerisms, he's a little dark minded and likes to try to creep people out, but it's fun to him just as racing is to me. You may have to get out when he gets here so he can help me out. If you're worried I'll reactivate my holoform to stay near you, alright?" he told her so she'd know what to expect. This little ball-o-spunk in his alt mode cab showed potential to make things a lot rougher then they needed to be so he figured, maybe, letting her know what was going down would help nip that in the bud.

Jasmin sat back and crossed her arms, smirking at Laserbeak's response with her usual cockiness. "Well you haven't come at me yet..." she murmured quietly. She had a good feeling the bird-like mech was not going to actually do anything to her and if he did, well, that gave her every right to fight back. But there was nothing to say she couldn't cuss the thing out for talking to her in such a demeaning way. Don't expect respect from her if you don't show her any, and the way he had acted towards her reminded her a lot of a good number of people she'd dealt with who didn't deserve respect in her eyes. She looked at the dashboard as Knockout spoke as a sort of indicator that she was listening. "Hey, I won't give him a reason if he doesn't give me one." she said with a shrug. "But if he talks to me the same way the bird is you better bet I'm gonna talk back. I don't take shit like that, especially from people I just met. And you don't need to activate your holoform for me, no need to put any more strain on ya when we're tryin' to get you back to full functionality."
