Barricade spotted Ironhide across the crowd, and shot him a grin before ducking into an alley and taking off again. The streets of Iacon, especially the ones around the training station, were cleaner and more open than those commonly found in Kaon. He looped around, heading back to the training area, and transformed as soon as he hit open ground. He wanted to challenge himself to not just evade Ironhide, but to see if he could actually take the older warrior by surprise, and he would need terrain that was closer to what he had been used to in order to get something of a chance. Then again, he also knew that Ironhide was familiar with what he was used to, and so deviating from that might be to his favor...

Ironhide's smile became a devious smirk as Barricade spotted him and took off. ~"Yeah, that's it, play hard ta get, 'Cade. Ya know I like a real challenge n ya only excite this old hunter more when ya do."~ he muttered to himself and bolted for the alley way in hot pursuit. It seemed Barricade was up to his old tricks again and Ironhide chuckled as he transformed to his heavy wheeled alt mode. ~"Ya gotta do better than that."~ he muttered and followed back towards the training base, scanning, searching, sniffing out the younger mech's trail.

Barricade masked the signals he was giving, trying to disappear as much as possible, before turning into one of the unused, exterior training fields, and transformed, ducking into a structure meant to imitate a partially-destroyed structure. The ruined "town" was more open than Barricade was normally used to, but it also had some of the clutter that he was used to. He found some scrap in one of the open upper levels, and carefully crawled into the pile, using it to hide himself as best he could. From there, he sat and waited to see if Ironhide would pass nearby.

Ironhide followed Barricade's scent track easily enough, then almost laughed out loud when he realized where the young mech was heading. ~"Big mistake, 'Cade, I know these grounds n can map em in recharge."~ he chuckled and headed out into the ruins training yard. The difference here was that scent tracks were quickly dispersed by subtle and random EM emissions in various spots around the track, making it impossible for Ironhide to track him that way, but he had other means. He transformed and carefully scanned the area, moving from structure to structure, clicking through the hiding places and tactics he knew Barricade used and anticipating variations on those themes. He moved into and through various buildings, wary, careful, even though he knew Barricade wouldn't hurt him that was no excuse for letting down one's guard in a hunt. Either way, Ironhide was greatly enjoying this diversion, to say the least, and it showed in the smirk on his face plates.

Barricade spotted Ironhide moving near his hiding place, and waited, just a moment, before leaping out to pounce on the older mech's back. ~"Got you!"~ He called in triumph, clinging with all his might to the black mech's armor. He knew that Ironhide had his size, strength, and experience going for him in something like this, but he took pride at having gotten the first attack in.

Ironhide let out a yelp of surprise as Barricade sprang out and pounced on him, and Ironhide deliberately fell back away from the smaller mech, turning to land on his back so he could grab Barricade. He then rolled over with a good natured growl and pinned him beneath his larger frame. ~"Not fer long, ya little scraplet."~ he retorted with a chuckle, looking down at his friend. ~"Seems I won after all. Good pounce though, I'll give ya that. Ya can use n expand on that tactic, be good fer scoutin' missions."~ he offered with a slight tilt of his head, his much heavier frame preventing Barricade from moving very much, and Ironhide would not let him up until Barricade conceded the victory.

Barricade yelped in surprise and released Ironhide's armor as the larger mech fell, and had started to scramble backwards when Ironhide rolled over and pinned him. He grinned up at his mentor. ~"Being small has it's ups!"~ He replied, wiggling a little bit before deciding that, yes; he was quite stuck, and he wasn't going to be getting away. ~"You caught me, so, that means I submit now, right?"~

Ironhide chuckled in response. ~"Yup, that it does."~ he answered, still holding Barricade down. ~"Unless ya think ya can move my heavy chassis offa ya under yer own power?"~ he added with a wink, knowing Barricade wasn't strong enough to do so, though that didn't mean he wouldn't try. One thing he knew well about his young protege, he was about as stubborn as Ironhide was when it came to certain things.

~"Maybe I can."~ Barricade smirked playfully in response, wiggling some more, trying to get at least one limb free.
After a little bit, he stopped and exhaled a bit dramatically. ~"Or, maybe I can't. Have you been sneaking one too many energon goodies in the middle of the night, Ironhide?"~ He teased with another smirk. ~"It feels like you have."~

Ironhide scowled playfully and gripped Barricade firmly. ~"Aight, that's it, yer in fer it now, ya lil scraplet."~ he growled and the twin cyber tendrils in Ironhide's arms slithered out, seeking Barricade's sensitive vents where he proceeded to tickle the younger mech relentlessly.

Barricade shrieked in laughter as Ironhide's tendrils found his vents, and proceeded to tickle them relentlessly. His frame twisted and wiggled as much as he could under Ironhide's larger frame, trying, in vain, to get away from the tickling. His laughter kept him from attempting to respond, or protest, though he didn't mind that fact. He trusted Ironhide, more than he had trusted any other bot in his lifecycle.

Ironhide couldn't help but chuckle, then laugh with his young friend, and once he decided Barricade had likely had enough, he stopped tickling him for a moment, let him calm down, then asked, ~"Ya give up n surrender yet, 'Cade?"~ he asked with a chuckle, threatening to start tickling him again if he didn't. But oh, the sound of his gleeful and light Sparked laughter coupled with the feeling of Barricade squirming against him had tricked Ironhide's systems, igniting something else. He got a slightly bashful flicker across his features and he glanced away slightly, trying to hide what he was feeling. He didn't want to scare Barricade, nor did he want to hurt his friend in any way. He'd rather claw out his own interface module than do something so grotesque and vile to someone he cared for.

~"Never give up! Never surrender!"~ Barricade proclaimed proudly with a grin, laughing some more. He quieted down a bit when he saw Ironhide's face change right before the older mech looked away. ~"Ironhide?"~ He asked, concern in his voice. ~"Are you alright? You don't look well..."~ He was suddenly worried about his mentor. Was there something on his mind? Was he hurt?

Ironhide smiled back at him and sat up, shifting to sit next to Barricade and letting the younger mech sit up on his own. ~"Yeah, just thinkin' bout stuff."~ he replied, fidgeting a bit with a piece of scrap metal he idly found and picked up. He then vented a sigh and finally looked over at Barricade. ~"Ya know I'd never hurt ya, n I'd never force ya ta do something ya didn't want er didn't like. I couldn't do that, ever."~ he added, shuddering at the vile thought and looking away again. ~"But... if ya wanted... with me..."~ he murmured softly, struggling with the state of mild arousal he had suddenly found himself in unexpectedly.

Barricade sat up, his hands behind him so that he could lean back and allow his arms to support him, watching Ironhide as he spoke. ~"You mean, the interface-thing you told me about?"~ He tilted his head some. He'd been under the impression that doing something like that with Ironhide wouldn't exactly be proper, given their teacher-student relationship. At the same time, one; since when did Barricade always care about what was proper, and two; they were also close friends. ~"I guess...If you don't mind."~
