Whiplash’s holoform held very still. Whiplash was used to manipulating things with his holoform, and feeling them--after all, he basically rode himself with his holoform. He was not, however, used to human contact, and the helmeted young man held himself almost cautiously still as Jessica’s hand briefly clasped his shoulder. He nodded silently at her as she assured him she would be fine.
He was still going to watch her, despite her reassurance, of course.
When she called to him again, he had been half-turned, making it look as if he were prepared to go, but the young Decepticon’s full attention was still on her. The motorcycle’s headlight swiveled her way, and the holoform’s head cocked to the side at the same time after she asked her question, both extensions of the being known as Whiplash moving in almost eerie harmony. “Uh, depends. When’s that, again…?”

Jessica smiled a bit at Whiplash's mannerisms. It was nice to interact with someone who was...well, if hanging out with a giant transforming robot was normal, she would be feeling it. However, she was pretty sure that Whips didn't consider her an equal. She shifted a bit in her wheelchair before she answered, with a warm voice, "December 25th."
She wasn't really sure how he was going to answer. She would like to see him on Christmas, but that was up to the 'Con. It was up to Whips, along with his Faction. She relaxed in her wheelchair and she braced her hands against the wheels. No matter his answer, she would have to go soon.
Night had come and it was time to part.

Whiplash cocked his holoform's head. “Uhh.. no, I don't think that'S GONNA work, sorry. But a few days after I might be able to get out.” His holoform hesitated for a moment, and then shrugged. “I mean, I ain't exactly... well, I ain't in charge or anything.” He didn't want to go touting his middling rank to Jessica. It was important to Whiplash that she be impressed by him.
A pet should look up to its owner, right?
“But hey, uhh... have a good one? I'll call you next time I'm nearby.” Exactly how he intended to do that was apparently known only to him. It was only a matter of time before Jessica found out. Whiplash fell silent and simply watched her. He would continue to watch her until she made it safely to her house. Then the young Decepticon steered away from the corner and slipped out of sight, roaring off into the night.

Jessica nodded a bit. She leaned back slightly in the wheelchair as she listened. "All right then. You have a good Christmas as well, Whips," she responded gently, knowing better to point out that she wouldn't have cared if he was a foot soldier, she wouldn't have picked any other 'Con to befriend. She refused to to say that, however, because she wasn't sure how he would take that.
There was also no need to point out that Whips was going to be the only 'Con she befriended...most likely. She smiled a little and gave a nod. "Thank you, Whips. I'll hear from you then," she answered and turned back around before she carefully wheel herself towards her home. She smiled as she saw her lighted house and the carefully constructed house that allowed her to get into her home.
She got out her keys and carefully unlocked the door before she wheeled herself inside.
(Jessica has left the thread.)
