Sven made a show of unlocking the car and got in the driver's side then paused for just a moment. Now that she was so close to his real form he noticed something about her, there was a very high level of radiation coming from her. It was strange, she seemed human enough. Then again she did seem to be a bit more resilient than most humans, perhaps she was a holoform, or maybe a pretender? But no, he definitely picked up the smell of blood from her when her leg got cut, real blood like a human would have, not a synthetic to keep up appearances. The idea of her being a Techno Organic flashed through his processor but most of the Techno Organics were younger. So what was it about the woman that caused that radiation?
It took only a fraction of a second for him to regain himself and make a show of starting the car. Once she was in his alt mode he'd have five whole blocks to run a scan and find out just what it was about her. That should be plenty of time and once he knew what it was he could figure out where to go from there. "I'll say you're not like most..." he said, throwing his own bottle of booze in the backseat for now. "Not entirely sure it's my place to ask just how different you are either."

"It's simple but complex at the same time. I'm a survivor, a savant to top it off. My mind rivals most super computers, even though I've a BAC of around .19 right now I am still able to function as well as most sober, when I should be fully inebriated, it's due to how my brain processes data, both informational and sensory, you may have noticed my reflexes are beyond most, that is why, that area of my brain is hyperactive, as is the region which controls logic, understanding of events and pattern recognition, basically it allows me to see most possible outcomes in a situation, and often guess the next move of an opponent before they even know it. Not only that, I've also a glandular disorder which causes me to have high levels of adrenaline in my body at all times, causing my body to work beyond normal limitations, in other words, it makes me stronger than I look because, unlike most who's bodies limit them to avoid damage, mine does not, I work near full compacity at all times. Plus I barely feel pain anymore due to getting accustomed to it, as my scars likely show. As I said, simple but complex." she said, looking over to Sven, a small, lopsided smile coming to her lips "Mom says I'm jus' too stubborn to go down though, and she partly right there, not like she's got room to talk." she said chuckling slightly "Either way, I am grateful for your assistance in there Sven, and for the ride."

Sven nodded to the explaination, taking in all the information she gave him. "Well that certainly does explain a lot." He had to admit, this was quite a woman he'd managed to run into. Smart, strong, a skilled fighter, and attractive to boot, there wasn't much to complain about if anything. Though he knew his luck and he was not about to push it. "I know what it's like being a survivor, not the best path to end up on but it will teach you what you need to know, if you don't learn you don't live."
At that point the scan finished and he had to force himself not to hit the breaks in surprise. It seemed that radiation was coming from a shard in her chest, a shard of the Allspark. How she'd managed to get that in her body was beyond him but there was no doubt that was what it was. Well great, what was he supposed to do now? He already knew kidnapping the woman would no doubt end badly for him but letting her just go with that was not a good idea. Besides, if another Decepticon were to find her with that they'd likely try and kill her just to get it. It seemed she'd been lucky so far but she really could use some sort of protection. Powerful as this woman was she was still human and humans had a habit of going squish if they found themselves under a few tons of metal.
"It was no problem, though from what I saw I doubt you really needed my help back there." he said. He was going to have to figure something out and relatively quickly at that. He knew one thing for sure though, for now he'd have to keep quiet about the fact the he even knew about it. Worst case scenario if someone else did find out she had that in her he could always claim he didn't know and at least save his own aft, though he hoped it wouldn't come to that. This woman was not involved in their war, nor did she need to be. Could she handle it? It was a possibility, but why put that to the test if it wasn't needed?

"Ain't that the damned truth. Tell ya one thing though, the looks on some people's faces when you get stabbed, stand back up, pull the knife out and throw it at them is fuckin' priceless." she said chuckling a bit, she then shrugged a bit "Eh, honestly, it was nice to have someone tryin' to lend me a hand for once, I mean, yea, bein' outnumbered ain't anything new, I normally out class the idiots, but it still can get annoying being the only one on ya side sometimes. Though sorta use to it from daily life to be hones'." she said, giving a small sigh as she relaxed back against the seat, her arms coming up to clasp her hands behind his head so she was comfy, though that also made her chest, which was in very low cut leather to begin with, a lot more obvious, along with the very top of the knife hidden there visible.

Sven chuckled a bit. "I'll bet, bit harder to pull something similar in a gunfight unfortunately. Possible, but a lot harder. I'm sure you know that already though seeing as how you have a set of .45s on you, Desert Eagles if I'm not mistaken, yes?" He hoped that something could come up in conversation to give him an idea of just what he might be able to do. He had one idea already but it was minimal and there was no guarantee it would even work. "Quite honestly I could see from the start that I would much rather be on your side than the opposing. Besides, I've found myself alone in a bad situation plenty of times, it's always a relief to have someone by your side even if you don't know them all that well. And if it turns out you can't trust them in the end, well it's still a damn good thing to be able to handle yourself." He glanced over to see her leaning back. Was she intentionally trying to tease him? He knew better than to test his luck but she almost seemed to be daring him to. And yet he could see what looked to be the top of a knife nestled between her breasts. It just didn't seem worth the risk, and yet he couldn't help but wonder.

"Yea, custom, hollow points always loaded, hair trigger. Love the power they pack for the kick they don't." she said, looking over at him with a small smirk "Indeed it is, if they turn, well, they've already helped you down enough threats that dealing with one more shouldn't be too hard. Heh, much as I like my guns though, as ya saw, I take more of a hands on approach. I normally got a katana on my back too, and a few weapons no one sees until it's too late. I like people to know I got a means to defend, but not know to what extent, the intimidation factor tends to, well. . ." she gave a half grin at that, realizing he was sort of looking at her chest a bit. ". . .make people second guess if tryin' me is really with the risk."

Sven quirked an eyebrow slightly before looking back towards the road as though he actually needed to. "Well you do a damn fine job of it, that's for sure. At least to those who have any semblance of common sense, which apparently those guys who picked a fight with you back there didn't." So that was it, she was testing him. He should have figured as much. Though from what he'd seen of this woman he wasn't too surprised. Besides, it's not like he didn't test people himself, a lot of times you need to to be sure of just what you're dealing with, a sort of 'protect your own ass' kind of thing. He resisted the urge to let out a sigh. There was only about a block left before they reached her hotel and he still hadn't come up with any better ideas. Well at least he had the one to work with.

"Them and most of modern society, it's kinda sickening really, buncha idiots running the world, then they why it's all goin' to hell ina hand basket with a broken handle." she said, letting out a sigh of her own "Though I admit, I do enjoy kickin' a few asses from time to time. Bitchslappin' someone with a bottle of Everclear tonight though. . . .that was a first for me, an' that says somethin'." she said giving a small chuckle, rolling her neck a bit to get a few pops from it before sitting up proper in the seat once more, though she gave a small, sharp inhale feeling that damned piece of metal in her chest shift a bit, not painful, just annoying a bit. The discomfort faded soon enough however, allowing her to relax once more.

Sven chuckled slightly. "Trust me, I know. A couple of those idiots happen to be my brothers. Half the time it's up to me to keep them from doing anything too stupid, the other half of the time I just let it happen in the hopes that it will help them learn. It usually doesn't but hey at least I can hope right? Besides, the outcome is usually somewhat amusing regardless." He grinned a bit, thinking about some of the humiliating messes Vortex has gotten himself into. "The ass kicking may not always teach them a lesson but it sure can be fun, even if you're just watching." He noticed her react to a bit of discomfort and based on how she had moved he guessed he knew what had caused it. A shard of metal that wasn't supposed to be there was likely to have that effect from time to time, at least it didn't seem to be hurting her any, at least for now.

Vic had to give a small chuckle at that one "Yea, watchin' someone get what they got comin', well, it can be amusing to say the very least, especially when they do it to their damned selves." she said, giving a lopsided smile at that and looking forward, her eyes scanning the area. To watch others get what they got coming, oh there was one she wished she could watch such occur with, one who was the reason for many of her scars. Maybe one day he'll get his. "Brother's eh? I was born an only child myself, but, I'm forged some relationships that could be seen as being sibling in nature, even if they're more of a rare breed than even I am." she said with a smirk, glancing towards him for a moment before looking back to the road.

"Well by all technicality I'm pretty sure I'm an only child too, though I hardly knew my parents so it's hard to say for sure." he said with a shrug. "Found myself with a certain group at one point and, well, they may as well be my family, sibling rivalry and all. They may frustrate me sometimes but in the end they've been there when I needed them so I guess it all evens out. They're about the only family I've ever had and now they're all the family I've got left." He looked at the woman again. "Gotta say though, I can't imagine there are many breeds much rarer than you."

Vic nodded at what Sven said "I can understand that." she said before giving a light chuckle at his last comment "You'd be surprised, some things are not what they seem. . ." she said looking over at Sven then "And that's all I'm really at liberty to say, kinda a unique situation with some and all." she said before looking forward once more, just as another bolt of lightning, followed by thunder, hit. This caused the redhead to jump noticably before actually growling at the lightning a bit "I fuckin' hate storms."

Sven had to resist busting out laughing when she mentioned things not being what they seemed. She really had no idea just how true that was in his case. Fortunately he was able to keep it down to just a chuckle. "Don't worry, I can understand that. I'm quite familiar with some rather unique situations myself so I'm not about to push for details. Shouldn't go asking questions if you don't want to be asked a few yourself after all." He noted how she jumped at the lightning, the general tenseness the storm seemed to cause for her. She did not seem the type to have irrational fears but for some reason the storm spooked her. "I get the feeling there's a reason behind your hatred for storms..."
((This was supposed to be posted with Swindle's account but I goofed and the other person didn't notice so blah! XP))

Vic nodded at that "There is, kinda got struck by lightning once, that was NOT a fun day, I'll say that much. Since then, knowing how my nerves felt like they were one fire when it happened, I kinda, well, loath the very thought of gettin' struck again. Being that disoriented after than much pain is not something I wanna experience twice." she said looking over to him. Though she let that memory go a little, thus she just looked at him, an eyebrow quirked slightly "So, what was so amusing about my previous statement eh?" she asked, hoping to take attention off her fear, which she viewed as a serious weakness and thus, hated it all the more.

"Ah, yeah, that makes sense there. I've been in my share of situations I'd rather not repeat. Like ending up on the wrong end of a cannon. I'd much prefer that never happens again thank you." Sven said with a nod. It was a bit bizarre how much they seemed to have in common. It was as if the more they talked the more he could identify with her a bit. He couldn't help but wonder if she was having a similar experience. He shrugged at her question. "The whole 'things are not what they seem' thing is all. Very cliche but, in my experience, very true. You almost never see the whole truth of a thing at first glance, it takes some time to learn all there is to know."
