Well that was confusing. There was quite obviously something between the flier and the ground bot, and she wasn't sure she wanted to know what. Instead she replied calmly, despite her inner confusion, trying not to sound as though replying to a rude statement. She was so out of the loop. <~"Then I will let you two communicate; this seems important."~> And that left her to her thoughts. She went back to that internet search.
Keeping herself in the air, she absorbed what she could about human culture, but much preferred seeing it herself. She wasn't quite sure about the validity of this source yet. Well. She was done with that for now.
Maybe she should be nervous about her upcoming meeting with the Autobots. Well, not maybe, but definitely. She just didn't want to put too much thought in that direction. What if they didn't accept her? What if... What if the bot below her was only a rare example by allowing an outsider, a seeker, passage, and the others attacked her? Was this an irrational fear? Would she really get through the front door, or would she be cut down where she stood? Would she never see her siblings again? Never see Kitty?
But maybe that was right. Maybe she didn't deserve her family. They would never see their creators again. That was her fault. It would only serve right that she never get to see her family again. A very faint shudder ran through her frame. No, she chose this. This is the life she chose for herself. She had to face it. Herself. The grief of her actions panged sharply in her spark, but she chose to shoot through it, pulling a sharp and swift corkscrew through the air, spinning wing over wing, before slowing, almost stopping in the air, falling, before pulling herself back up. The exertion of energy may seem random, and she was already exhausted from flight, ready to rest for hours on end, but... She needed the chill of the air, the earth approaching winter, to bring her back to circumstances.
In other words, she was really antsy, just like anybody approaching a turn in their life. Hopefully it was a turn for the better. [/blockquote]

Twister was still as a statue as she listened to Prowl. So that's why some of the Autobots always seemed to have a look of recognition in their optics when she encountered them...It all made sense now. Supressed emotoin and pain overtook her processor as she took the story in. She was dreaming, right? It seemed too good to be true yet almost impossible at the same time. It certainly explained why she didn't know much about her past before the Great War! She hugged herself then as her Spark with in her tremored from a rush of emotion, the raw power of the emotion weighing her down such that she nearly buckled to her knees. Her arms braced her own Spark chamber then reflexively. She huffed a mechanical sigh.
He had been there. And Bumblebee. Apparently they were likely good friends, battle buddies as well. She couldn't vividly remember any of those times, just brief flashes of training scenarios before she'd been reprogrammed. She didn't remember any of the struggling she'd been through the day she and Blackfire were attacked and then later reprogrammed. {"So they did care, they actually tried to find me...Now it makes sense. Perhaps with having learned this I have a chance to redeem myself...but I don't want to be reprogrammed again."}
Twister then jumped down from the building, engaging her rotors briefly to float a bit before landing so she landed with a light thump after taking in everything she said.
She gazed up to the approximate location where Firefly was after landing, watching her lights for a moment before setting her red optics on Prowl again. <~"That explains why I can't remember anything before the War started...Thank you so much for telling me. Blackfire is en route and is being forwarded this information as we speak."> Her voice was honest and sincere as she said those words. <~"But given my status, would I ever be welcomed back? I now that I have learned of my true past, I want to change, but I'm not sure how to go about it, and I think Blackfire feels the same way about herself, I can feel it...When they reprogram you, it's hard to recall anything of your former self..."~>
She then spoke to Firefly after a short pause. <~"We have reached an agreement. I am going to help lead you by air. But before I take off again, I want to apologize for anything rude, brash and whatnot in advance of the flight, I have been stuck in an emotional rut for quite some time and I'm finally getting out of it. I also apologize in advance for any violent urges I may deal with, they are very hard to control. I...apparently have a past with the Autobots. I would like to start to regain some trust with them. I am not familiar with your signal type but I wanted to say these things out of precaution."~>
Well that had been a mouthful. She couldn't help it though, Twister's processor was operating at full speed right now between taking in new information and handling emotions. If there was any one good thing about the situation, she had yet to freak out/break down other than her little exclamation burst a moment ago. Remarkably, her words spoken between each of them were quite calm, but the calmness hid a thick layer of emotion (so her voice is a wee bit shaky). Twister had to shake her head inwardly as she wondered how long she could manage to keep her calm demeanor. It's not like she was trying to impress either of them, because Twister was naturally hard to intimidate, anger and break down, one of the key strengths to her personality was her control of emotions and a vast amount of patience she had developed over the years.
Before taking off, Twister stood there on ground level, a little more closer to Prowl now but it would still take a decent run for her to be with in talking distance from him. She was hesitant to approach him for the moment while they had a job to do.

Twister would feel Blackfire's own emotions as she relayed what Prowl explained to her. Blackfire had her own various flashes of memories, but they were weaker and even more brief than Twister's had been. For the most part she had decided to ignore them because they were too annoying to question. ~//"We are lucky to have been out here, Twister. Otherwise it would have been an ordinary day for us...I hope we get reaccepted, I hate the Decepticon way."\\~
Blackfire could feel Twister's sincere agreement as their conversation continued. ~//"It is true now that I think about it, we were one of the few Autobot fliers at the time...it is unfortunate we got captured."\\~
She picked up speed, anxious to reunite with her host now. She surveyed the skies as she got closer and soon detected Firefly up at a much higher altitude. The stealthy little dragonic femme banked low for the buildings and would stay at a lower altitude unless Twister called her back into her compartment. But she wanted to get a closer look at the one who had informed Twister of their past.
Swerving around some buildings, Blackfire eventually grabbed onto a corner of a building a few feet above the ground and peeked out at Prowl from the three o'clock position. If she had remembered him and liked him, she might have just tackled him or at least chirped a greeting, but she was cautious just as her master was, so her orange-yellow optics and pointy receptors were basically the only thing seen from around the corner of the building.

Prowl took an unconscious step back when Twister jumped from the roof, her rotar blades spinning for a softer landing. He watched her closely. Prowl didn't think she would attack; she had yet to make an aggressive move to either Transformer, but he'd been in the presence of enough Decepticons to know to be wary around them, even when they weren't hostile. He knew how aggressive they could turn in the spur of the moment.
Her words came over their secured link, and he knew they were sincere and truthful. <~"You haven't a thing to fear, Twister. You will find the Autobots are more accepting of any Transformer, even ones who were once Decepticons. That is why that seeker, Firefly is following us in. I admit, I don't trust her, but she could prove a useful Autobot. You will be accepted back into their ranks, I personally will make sure of it. You and Blackfire both."~> He was serious. Optimus would more likely than not reaccept the female with open arms, but if not, then he would vouch for her. He had fought beside her in many a battle, and he was willing to do it once more.
The Autobot transformed, opening a comm to both females. <~"Twister, Firefly follow me."~> The Autobot allowed his wheels to spin, and he drove East. <~"My destignation is Prowl, Autobot militant strategist and analysis."~> He grew silent, just driving.
Exiting the city, his speed increased. He remembered how when he had first arrived, watching the car he had taken his alt form from, how when the sirens blared, the other cars moved out of its way. He was in a hurry, they had to get back to their base, and four Transformers travelling together, especially when two were known Decepticons, and one a known Autobot, was never good. If they ran into Autobots, Prowl would be able to halt the attack, he held a fairly high position in their ranks, but if they ran into Decepticons, Twister wouldn't be able to halt them, and they would be forced to attack. He didn't want that; Prowl wasn't willing to let any of them be taken by the Decepticons. His scanners bleeped softly with the presence of the four of them, though no other signals were detected.
His sirens activated, and his speed increased once more. He drove as quickly as the vehicle he had taken up would be able to go, pushing it- him- to his limits. The information would come in handy later anyways, if he had a high speed chase, or something where speed was required.

So it was time to go. She had, admittedly, zoned out by this point, and that comm from... Prowl.. Had snapped her focus back to the present. redirecting her path, she shifted to follow the grounder, adjusting her speed and maneuvering to stay in the general vicinity - though she wouldn't follow exactly. Apparently jets didn't usually do that. So. Yeah. She wasn't sure where or when they'd get there, but she was so ready to land. On metal, hopefully, because she wasn't too sure about this dirt stuff. She had sensitive foot plating, and she didn't know how it'd handle the crumbly substance.
She also discovered that that thing she had hit was called a bird. A biiiird. Such a flat word. Bir-bir-buuuuuuuurd. Ugly little creatures, but they did possess a certain amount of beauty. Ugly, only in that they were inconvenient and oddly built for flight. Pretty, in the symmetry and the covering. Feathers layered oddly, but precisely. Still. Strange. She didn't like them, but whatever.
She sent a quick reply to Twister. <~"Thanks. I suppose we're still stuck with a grounder - no offense if he's your friend - but it's nice to have somebody in the air to stick with."~> And it was.
With a near-silent trill, she flipped herself back and forth in the air. She didn't know what she was going into, but she did know that now only was she not trusted, but likely wouldn't be for a long time. She was a seeker. This was her curse.

Twister let Prowl have some space as he started moving before she glanced over at Blackfire and motioned her to follow. Taking a running start, she ran down a clear patch in the road and let her rotors warm up before taking a long leap forward by pushing herself off a small building. Passing through effective translational lift, she gained altitude quickly and transformed as she climbed, while Blackfire stayed low for now. <~"Yeah apparently he is someone I know, or used to know. I sort of know the way, so at least you don't have to have to be constantly focused on a ground-based signal all the way there, I know that can be a little dangerous, especially when flying at night."~> Twister replied to Firefly once she was in the air and climbing.
<~"Nice to meet you, again, Prowl."~>

Blackfire made a soft chirp at Twister before moving forward and running along the roadside, following the road unlike Twister. Moving into a low glide, the stealthy symbiote followed Prowl, quickly catching up to him. Her large wingspan generated ever so faint flapping sounds as she moved, though over the wind and sirens Prowl wasn't likely to hear that. She was curious, and wanted to get a closer look at him; if he would let her, anyway. She tilted her head up towards a couple hundred feet to her right as Twister approached about 500 feet in the air. She wouldn't be there long since she was going to keep Firefly some company as well.
Like Twister, the metallic dragon remembered a pursuit training scene back on Cybertorn that appeared similar to this, but it was only a brief little vision. <~"This seems familiar,"~> she said to Prowl as she got closer.

Though slower than what these flyers were able to travel, the Autobot was fairly fast. He was able to travel well over 200, and his sirens helped to get others to leave his path as he moved towards his base.
<~"Likewise, Twister."~>
He kept to the highway, sirens blaring as he sped past, the vehicles moving quickly to the side to allow the car through. As Blackfire replied this seemed familiar, he recalled a training exercise they participated in back on their home world. "<You are remembering a training exercise back on Cybertron. You, Twister, and I simulated a pursuit, without deadly force. It was in case we had a target who couldn't be injured. You would keep them in sight while Twister and I would close in on them with your directions. It worked rather well.">

Firefly sped up for a second, hopping ahead of them very shortly, performing a lazy loop and killing her flight engines halfway around, so that she started to fall back and downward, the nose facing behind them and cockpit toward the ground, falling a relatively short distance and a bit behind the two, before re-activating flight engines and half-looping back up, re-orienting in a normal position. It was really a fairly simple trick - the hard part was the timing. In about the middle of the flip, she sent a short affirmative to Twister. This was her conversation - it wasn't her place to intervene. Honestly, she wasn't even sure she could trust the two to take her to the right place, and the bot down under was a bit sharp around the edges.
She stayed somewhere around the group, in general hovering in different areas between the two. She did notice the smaller serpentine bot on the ground, but chose not to acknowledge the bot unless it communicated to her first. She figured he belonged here if the other two hadn't done anything about him. If they hadn't noticed him was another deal, but she kinda doubted it - at least on Prowl's part. She knew perfectly well that he didn't trust her, and she was pretty sure he knew that most seekers come in groups of three. He could very well be expecting the other two - her brother and sister - to show up at any time. So she flew, the cool air skimming her form lightly. She liked it. [/blockquote]

Blackfire noticed how quiet Twister was once she was following Prowl. Blackfire saw Twister make a gradual climb, her navigational lights flashing brightly in the night sky, easily depicted against the city lights given her speed and change in rate of climb. <~"I wish...I wish we could remember more. But no matter how hard I try I can't. Master is having the same frustrations."~> She swept from one side to another before making her own sharp climb as well to visit Firefly, perhaps introduce herself if she seemed friendly.
She didn't really expect Prowl to respond at this point unless he had something he wished to say about their past, so she fell silent as well for the moment. It felt awkward, trying to talk to someone you had known for centuries some time ago in your past, then lost almost memories with them in it.
((Skipping Twister, she's being quiet for now.))

Prowl drove in silence, his scanners acting as a GPS of sorts as it mapped the quickest route to the Autobot base, taking into account the speeds at which he would be able to travel, any traffic jams they may encounter, or the turns in which they would need to take where he would be forced to slow down. The direction didn't change much, but when it did, Prowl was quick to fix his route, and drove on, his sirens still blazing.
At Blackfire's inquiry, Prowl did wonder what it would be like to be deprived of memories. It would change who you were, and the evidence was right in front of him. Twister and Blackfire had defected sides because Megatron had their memories altered, and their personalities changed as a result.
He didn't answer back. Silence overtook the four Transformers as they made their way towards the Autobot base. He wondered about Firefly's trine, but decided to ask her later. If they showed up, he wouldn't attack unless they attacked first, and in that case, they would not be spared.
<”Optimus Prime, this is Prowl. I have arrived on earth, acquired an alternative form, and have met up with three other bots who are in tow with me. One is a seeker called Firefly, and the others are Twister and Blackfire. Twister and Blackfire wish to default back to the Autobots, and Firefly is a neutral who wishes to join.”> Prowl contacted his leader as he neared the base, not wanting to show up with three others with him, and they be mistaken as Decepticons.

The silence was actually... Moderately comforting. It allowed her a moment to think and to feel the breeze floating over her wings, to revel in the feel of the atmosphere and the familiarity of gravity after space travel. Earth wasn't that bad. Not that bad. She twisted in the air a slight distance behind twister, city lights bouncing off of her cockpit. Her alt mode was, for the most part, color absorbent, except for the splashes of the red.
She hoped the Autobot leader wasn't too frightening. Prowl himself was relatively intimidating, in a strange way. She was afraid of having to deal with the same attitude for the rest of her life. She tried to push the fear away, to relish in the cool wind, to remember the artistry of the cities back home, to remember the feel of cool metal playing against her finger tips, the distance sun heating the air just enough to be comfortable. Of course, here was a bit warmer than such distant sun.
These were definitely happy thoughts.

Raising his shield as several turrets fired in his direction Optimus managed to block most of the shots, but several shots were aimed low, hitting anywhere lower than his stomach. Swinging his axe Optimus sliced the turrets in half a moment later before more popped out from the wall and began to fire, making him narrow his optics in concentration until Prowl’s com-link caught him off guard, enough to make the turrets fire on the large mech. The shots weren’t lethal but enough to sting, so before Optimus could answer he quickly masked his signal and stepped off to the side, trying to recall the last he had seen Prowl which had been many, many years ago.
<”Prowl it’s good to hear from you old friend.”>Optimus replied in a relieved voice before adding,<”Go ahead and bring them in, I’ll be out front to meet you.”> With that done Optimus swung his axe back behind him, attaching it for now to put in his weapons pack alter and retracted his shield back into his arm as he came from the training yard with minor scorch marks but nothing serious. He had needed the training, also a break from some ‘paper’ work and was glad to have something else to distract him from his work for the time being. At the same time however he was curious for these three new transformers and stood on the tarmac to watch for the four.

Twister and Blackfire rose a few hundred feet towards Firefly's altitude about 20 miles out as they began to descend a little, she scanned for the bases's tower and squawked her 'arbitrary' tail number as they approached and informed there was another jet with her. It was interesting seeing the base from this view, and to deal with an air traffic control tower directly for once. The tower hailed them as Cybetronian and gave them commands in the fairly quiet airspace accordingly, and let Firefly hear the method of communication through her comlink system so she would have an idea of how to talk to make it easier on the controllers, since she had dealt with them before.
With Firefly being the jet, she had the right of way. <~"You have the right of way, I will forward you the communication information to the tower, we have to report about ten miles out and since we are already cleared to enter the airspace, we have to verify the numbers on our alternate modes so they can keep track of us in case other aircraft show up. Human regulations. You'll get used to it. Overtake me from above and they'll proceed to clear you the runway once we are closer. It's similar to how it was done on Cybertron but with symbolized names and different jargon."~>
The closer they got, the easier it was to see the tower and the markings on the runway. Blackfire stayed close to Twister in the pattern so she wouldn't be in the way. She was not an aircraft and didn't have to follow ATC instruction. <~"Just start a usual pattern and they'll clear you to land momentarily."~>

As his leader replied, Prowl did as well. <"Likewise, Sir.."> The Autobot tactician drove on still, watching the three in the sky. They were all relatively close to each other, at least close enough they were detectable on scanners.
As the base came in sight, he opened a comm to the other three. <"When cleared to land, land. I have contacted Optimus Prime, and he will be waiting our arrival. Find him and wait."> His sirens finally stopped as he slowed, seeing armed humans standing in front of him, many guns trained on his approaching form. Slowing even more, the Autobot went at a crawl through the narrow break between the soldiers, his form moving at the pace of walking for the humans. He heard one call out Autobot, and felt a hand hit the back of his alternative form twice, clearing him. He entered the base.If I portrayed the entrance to the base wrong, please let me know so I can change it.
