Jazz grinned at them then, glad they were not intent on dragging him back to base. He needed to run free, he needed the escape to stretch out his frame and cut loose, and as much as he liked Ratchet, the old medic could be downright irritating at times. "Well, alright then! Let's go have some fun!" he replied with a gleeful tone in his voice. He then launched himself into a backflip that put him into a handstand, where he twirled his frame around and transformed to his vehicle mode and took off towards the old mill down the road. It was clear that Jazz loved to move and stretch himself out, and it seemed that was his every intention in getting out away from base, though he kept his signal deeply masked just in case so Ratchet and the others wouldn't find him before he was ready to go back, which wouldn't be any time soon, that much was obvious.

Cira smiled as she watched Jazz drive off. Yeah, she was quite sure they would get along great if they got to know each other. She promptly re-seated herself in Kit's driver seat and buckled up then put the pedal to the metal once the door was closed.
"Cira, I will follow Jazz to the desired starting location and then I will keep watch for Jazz's sake." KITT said as they started moving. "All right, thanks, tis highly appreciated."

Jazz soon pulled into the driveway of the steel mill. Stopping close to one of the buildings, he transformed and let out a sigh of relief. "By the Dynasty, it’s good to get outa there for a change!" he groaned. "I swear that old rust bucket is bound n determined t’ keep me chained up in that damned hangar till the sun goes nova!" he shook his head. Glancing over at Cira and KI3T as they pulled up, he chuckled softly. "Sorry, Ratchet's been gettin' on my nerves a bit more than usual lately. He keeps tellin' Optimus that I'm not ready to get back to my old job yet." He let out a derisive snort that sounded rather mechanical. "He’s wrong. I'm more than ready, he just won’t give me the chance to prove it." Part of him could understand why Ratchet was worried about him physically, but it still drove him batty to be cooped up for any length of time. "I just need to get out n move around 'fore I go all rusty." he remarked, then shook his head.
"I was one of the first five Autobots to arrive on Earth back in 2007, along with Optimus, Ironhide, Ratchet, and Bumblebee. I was also the first Autobot to die on this planet. It’s just so hard to believe I've been dead n buried fer twenty years. Feels like yesterday..." his voice trailed off then, his arm moving across his midsection reflexively. There was a slight tone of resentment in his words, but not towards his friends. Jazz could never really resent them for burying him. He was dead, his Spark had been extinguished and he was gone. At the time there was nothing they could do to save him, let alone bring him back from the dead. They had no way of knowing what that remaining Shard could do, no one knew. The Allspark had been as much a complete mystery to all of them as it was a sacred artifact and source of life for their kind and their planet. All they knew was that it had been destroyed and the Allspark Shard that remained was little more than an inert relic, the last piece of a home the Autobots thought they could never return to.
He stood there pondering possibilities for a moment, went into a few running steps, then dropped his wheels down in mid stride, shifting from running to skating on the hard cracked old pavement. Jazz skated straight at one of the outer walls of the main buildings. At the last moment he pushed off with one foot, planted his other foot on the wall only to push off back the way he came, bringing his trailing foot around in a round house kick that became a half twist, half flip in mid air, sending him back towards Cira and KI3T when he landed. Rolling forward he spread his arms wide. "Tah Dah!" and laughed. As it was he was already contemplating something a bit more impressive for them to watch him do, things he had done since his early years back on Cybertron. Plus he wanted to see what she was going to do as well and wanted to start simple, at least at first.

When they slowed to a stop again, Cira stepped out of KITT and shut the door gently, walking a little closer to Jazz so she could speak normally. She had her arms folded as she observed him once he started moving about. Cira couldn't help but smile brightly. Yeah, she liked his style, and it didn't take much for her to confirm it. Their styles were almost identical. She was sure Jazz would realize that soon enough.
"Yeah I can understand that. Hopefully Ratchet begins ta trust ya a bit more. With KITT here to help scan fer baddies I'm sure you'll be safe, unless of course ya do somethin' reckless. That's always a possibility too." She shook her head and laughed a little as she watched him show off a little.
The laugh on her face faded and she ran at the same wall Jazz had before scaling up the wall almost twice her height before kicking off with her right leg, facing herself towards Jazz into a twist then kicking out with a left front snap kick towards the sky as she flew away from the wall. "Wutang!" she shouted in a Chinese accent as she dropped to the ground and landed on all fours. Once on all fours instead of shifting to her feet she began to move about on her hands. "Trunk Monkey and th' super awesome Mustang at yer service!" she walked around on her hands a little before standing up straight and saluted to the silver Bot playfully with a crooked smirk written on her face.

KITT watched them with a hint of jealousy, or, whatever the AI was feeling. His sense of emotoin was growing stronger every day he spent time around those at FLAG and the Autobots. He wished he could transform and go play with them for a bit, but at the same time he didn't want to intrude.
Half of him wanted to turn around and leave them alone, but half of him wanted to at least try to join in on the fun. If he had a good holoform that would help. His was still a bit weak and definitley looked more fake than most, but that was only because he didn't have the right technology. His external holographic technology was pretty good as far as human technology was concerned, but certainly not Cybertronian tech.
His black haired holoform flickered online and stood near his true form, eyes glowing a faint burnt red color. His unnamed holoform did a spin and a handstand, then did a front flip forward after pushing off his hands. "It is definitely about time I put this to good use." he said to himself.

Jazz grinned then and he watched to see what she would do, stepping around to put himself in position for his own run. {"Primus, she’s fast for a human."} Jazz thought to himself as she ran up the wall and flipped, then start walking on her hands. {"Yes,"} he decided inwardly, {"I have ta say I like this human rather a lot."} He applauded as she landed, clapping his metallic hands together with a *CLANK* *CLANK* *CLANK* *CLANK* sound. "If you were an Autobot, we’d be utterly unstoppable with more Style than anyone could ever handle!" he smirked. "Heck, for a human ya got more Style than I’ve seen in any of yer kind so far." He had to chuckle at her remark and tilted his head. "Trunk Monkey, huh? Now there's gotta be a story in that somewhere." he commented, then looked back at KI3T. "Hey, you should join us." he said cheerfully, then looked at the buildings again.
Spotting a smaller structure up against the larger one, he made his move, running at the corner between the smaller building whose wall she had run up and the larger foundry structure. He lifted his left foot to the wall and pushed off, lifting himself upwards to plant his right foot on the roof edge. He then pushed off and turned to his left, using his momentum to carry himself up the larger wall to grab the third floor window frame with his hands. Arching his body, he kicked his feet up over his head, doing a handstand against the wall facing outwards and pushing off the window hard. His feet hooked into the open window above and he curled his body up to grab the sides of the window with his hands, pulling himself in to crouch inside the opening. He turned and grinned down at her, waved, then pushed off with his feet, arching his metal body out and back at an angle, the momentum carrying his feet up and over. Twisting in the air, he reached out to grab the light pole that stood against the smaller building, swinging himself around before letting go to land on the single story roof.
But the weight of his frame and the force of his landing cracked the old roof supports and they gave way beneath him. With a surprised yelp he reached out to stop his fall, one hand catching hold of an intact roof strut. Reaching up with his other hand to get a firm grip, he kicked his feet up and pushed his body, feet first, back up through the hole with a grunt, angling himself like a pole vaulter to land at the roof edge, then pushed off into a somersault to finally land a few feet from Cira. "Well, maybe that wasn’t such a hot idea." he chuckled, scratching the back of his own head and looking mildly embarrassed.

Cira waved back at Jazz as he made his way up the building and gracefully used the two buildings to get onto the roof of the smaller building. Clever use of the light pole there, she had to admit. She winced a little and watched in concern as the building gave way, but was glad to see he knew how to take a fall well. With the kind of grace and agility he had, it was almost a given.
She smiled back at KITT's holoform when Jazz spoke up.
"But still cool." she giggled. She briefly covered her mouth with her hand, realizing it had been a little while she had actually giggled like that. Studied the gap between the two buildings, but comparing the distance against Jazz's side, Cira concluded (to her disappointment) that she couldn't do a similar move to reach the top of the one story building.
She then studied the structure of the larger building, as well as the smaller one, glancing back and forth. Perhaps with enough force she could push off that higher window of the larger building. It was almost level with the one -- but no, that was pushing it, the height difference between the two buildings and the distance between them were too big. {"If only I was bigger, I could do more here."} It didn't help she had the urge to show off BIG TIME.
She decided to go for and alternative when she saw a generator as well as some pipe lines that were along side the smaller one story building. She might even be able to leap to the second story window if she got a running start once on the smaller building. "I wanna try." She ran for the generator and got up it by pulling herself up in mid leap with her arms, ran across the generator and precision leaped onto the first vertical drainage pipe which was smaller than the other, which turned out to be a small ladder for maintenance crews to get to external parts of the building where the pipelines and windows were located. Pushing against the wall while holding onto the vertical pipe, Cira turned herself 90 degrees towards the ladder using pure muscle strength so she could put both heels alongside the pipeline for leverage to prepare for a leap.
Her left side was parallel against the ground about midway up the one story building at this point, and she then leaped nimbly over to the ladder, grabbing first with one hand then letting her body swing and fall as she grabbed hold with the other. Finally, Cira let her legs catch on the small, old ladder and climbed up normally, then hopped onto the roof. Looking up ahead, she saw the big hole Jazz had gone through. Careflly cat-walking along the edge of the roof about a foot or so away from where Jazz had fell through, she moved up to the edge and then along side the frontal part of the building where KITTs true form and Jazz were currently located.
Cira carefully moved around the caved in spot, then once far enough away from it, she dangled herself upside down, looking down at Jazz as KITT's holoform flickered about to move to the second story window on the other building. "I was gonna see about getting to the second story window, but, now that this hole is there, maybe we should drop in first and see what's there?"
((Inspiration ran away oO, sorry...))

KITT's holoform watched Cira carefully for now, just out of habit more or less. He was used to her antics and intense need to train in Parkour. He had picked up on some of her techniques and was already intent on using them if he ever got a robotic form in the futurel, which he hoped to if circumstances proved willing.
He spoke from his perch on the second story window, having crouched there on one side of it. A hand was on the frame, his feet squarely on the base. So far his holoform wasn't flickering too much, and he was curious to see how far away form his form he could get with it, since he didn't have the latest and gratest technology for the kind of holoforms the Cybertronians had. "I think I will, Jazz. But I want to make sure you two have space, as you seem to be getting along, and personally I think Cira needs to meet more males. Besides, my holoform likely has its limitations, and it is not yet perfected to my satisfaction." KITT was half joking when he said that first bit, half being serious.
It was true, the woman didn't seem to go out and socialize ever...she was happy working at either of her jobs, practicing Parkour, or spending time with Melissa. He never saw her go on a date since she broke up with her last high school sweet heart. From what he knew about most women, 'normal' ones like Sarah and Zoe, many were still dating at her age or were already married. That was one thing KITT didn't understand about humans, especially ones like Cira, it seemed they almost instinctively wanted to be different. They were free spirits, he'd heard that classification before, and he had finally settled on the idea that Cira was one of them and he would just have to accept it.

Jazz tilted his head thoughtfully as he watched her, then gave her a sheepish grin and shrugged when she mentioned the hole he had made. "Yeah, well… Wouldn’t have that problem on Cybertron." he chuckled. "Hmmm, exploration, that sounds fun." and he walked over to the building. KI3T's comment about Cira needing to meet more males made him turn and look at the black car and his holoform. "Uh, you do know that my race doesn't really have genders, right?" he asked with a tilt of his head. "But I guess if you consider personality type, I suppose that would count, to a point." he said with a shrug. "Besides, what does the gender of her friends have to do with anything?" he then asked, though inwardly he was feeling a twinge of something he never felt before. Jazz had plenty of friends among the Autobots, and had met a number of human friends as well. He had always been a free spirit, content with running around on his own. He had seen other Autobots who had taken Sparkmates, and Jazz had always just shrugged and happily gone his own way. Now something began to tug at his Spark and he couldn’t seem to keep his optics from stealing glances at Cira. She drew him in like a magnet and the sensation confused him. In his attempt to understand what he felt, Jazz chose to believe it was all just the giddiness of finding someone he could relate to, a true close friend who would genuinely understand him where the others, even with as long as they’ve known him, simply could not, except perhaps Red Alert, but again, only to a point.
He turned back to the structure and looked at it thoughtfully. The idea of exploring this place inside and out did intrigue him, but seeing how small this building was though, he decided his holoform would be a better idea, so he activated it, appearing standing on the roof edge in front of him. He could use his true form for the larger structures after all. DJ then headed up towards the hole his true form had made, perching on the support where he had grabbed hold to pull himself back up and out again. "Looks a bit messy down there, though I think that was more kinda my fault." he said as he looked at her. He had to admit she was quite graceful. {"Jazz, what are you doing?"} he asked himself inwardly. He then shook his head. {"She’s a human, you’re an Autobot. Be smart and leave it alone."} he chided himself. Was he actually admiring her slender graceful body like that? DJ then looked down into the structure for a moment, grabbed hold of the support he was perched on, and eased himself over and down until he was hanging by his fingers. He then looked around and spotted a lower cross span and reached for it with one hand, then let go with his upper hand and swung down to the lower beam, then did the same again until he was hanging by one arm from the bottom of the roof strut. He then swung himself back and let go to drop and land safely away from the pieces of roof that were laying on the floor. He looked up at her then and chuckled. "Yeah, it's a bit messy down here. Your turn though." he offered. He saw no reason she couldn't join him in there since as long as she was careful then nothing would hurt her.

Cira blushed and shook her head slightly as KITT spoke up about her lack of dates. "Well as far as humans are concerned some of us have gender preference. Not all, however, so we're kinda similar that way. I didn't know you 'Bots weren't concerned with gender, I could understand why, everyone's different after all." she wasn't sure if Jazz knew about the fact that some humans didn't care about gender either when it came to dating and such, but it wasn't the foremost thing on her mind right now. Despite that she was a prime age to date regardless of the gender preference she pursued, Cira felt like she had better things to do. No one struck her interests yet, that was the problem. Well, until now, it seemed. She mentally tried to rid her conscience of these thoughts, but it was difficult. "Thanks fer bringing that up, buddy." she said to KITT with a short sarcastic laugh.
Cira peered watched him use the support beams to lower himself down to avoid a painful drop. She stretched her arms forward and cracked her knuckles then popped her kneck to one side before taking a moment to survey her options. "A'right I'll give it a go. Piece o' cake!" she said to Jazz and his holoform once he was on the floor.
Noting the strength of the cross span Jazz's holoform used when he worked his way down, once he was on the floor, she crouched briefly and launched herself onto it by placing one hand on the roof (with her weight was light enough to do so with out more of it cracking) and aimed for it with her feet.
Landing on the roof stut with a heavy thunk, Cira secured herself pretty quickly, but her body took a bit more impact than she would have liked. Her left leg would nag at her later for that for sure. For now though, it wasn't a problem. She was used to leaping from about your average-sized small one story building (like a mini strip mall or something) or a house despite her size, but sometimes more awkward leaps put a bit of a strain on her muscles still.
For the rest of the way down though, given that this building was a bit on the large size despite it being one story, Cira would have to scale across the strut until she reached one end of the wall where she could connect to one of the large old machines and work station connected to it below. The old machine looked sturdy and had a sealed top, it looked pretty square, as well. She landed on the machine after swinging off the strut and then landed a few yards away from DJ, finishing the landing with a short roll on the old assembly line. Once completing the roll she pushed off with her hands and the balls of her feet and stood up to perform a mid air twist/flip before landing on the ground lightly.

KITT's holoform flickered over to the roof and then into the building, seating himself on the generator cross-legged as he watched them casually, leaning there on his hands. "Yes, I wasn't aware of that either, but I share the same philosophy. I told Cira's parents once that gender is purely arbitrary but they clearly disagreed." he chuckled. "But they as well as Cira are right, not all humans have opposite gender preferences. I for one never thought about it much." the reasons for that were obvious after all. He rested against the top of the old machine for a moment, laying on his back and crossing an ankle over a knee, staring up the ceiling with a smile. He was really enjoying getting a chance to use his holoform.
His eyes glowed a little brighter as he gazed up towards the hole in the roof Jazz had made as his form flickered a little bit. He wondered what was in the other building but decided not to go there until either the other two did, or his holoform started to wig out, OR when he felt like he should leave them alone. If he decided there was no reason to talk any more sooner than his holoform started flickering more noticeably, he would change course and go his own way. But he'd give it a little time, because he needed to socialize too.

DJ smiled as he watched her move from the roof to the floor, though he winced when she hit the support strut a bit hard. He looked over at KI3T's holoform for a moment once he appeared inside to continue the conversation, then shrugged. "Well, for the most part you'd be right, but with most organic species gender is a requirement and honestly can't be considered completely arbitrary. For us it would be though." he offered and to illustrate that point, his holoform flickered over the nanoform underneath and changed into a female version of itself. 'She' then shrugged a bit and the holoform spoke in a feminine voice. "But we aren't exactly a good example of that considering the preference to a particular identity is actually ingrained, though gender is typically meaningless to us. That's why we think nothing of two who, in your view would be male, being together as lovers or Spark mates. There aren't that many actual feminine bots of our kind anyway compared to ones that are more masculine in personality, and because gender doesn't matter to us, we don't worry about whether the one we befriend or become intimate with is masculine or feminine." and with that the holoform flickered back to what it was before and he turned and looked over at Cira.
"Beneath the armor plating, we're all the same, we have the same systems, the same structure, the same parts really, just some are bigger than others because of over all stature, and some have specialized defensive systems and weapons others don't. Those tend to be pretty individualized." The holoform then flickered again and vanished, leaving his bare and unarmored nanoform exposed to their view, which looked like his real form without the exterior armor plates that protected his internal structure. They could see the support structure and the fluid tubes that entwined through his structure, along with the glowing neural threads that wove their way over his frame. They could also see the cooling system bellows that expanded and contracted in his upper chest on either side of what appeared to be a metal sphere that pulsed with an inner blue glow, his small fuel tanks on either side of his lower chest, a fuel to energy conversion engine in his upper abdomen, his interface module in his lower abdomen, the closed valve of his sensory portal that housed his sensory rod, even the servo structure of his joints and the carbon fiber actuator systems that acted like muscles along his frame.
His glowing blue optics regarded her thoughtfully, wondering what she thought of his essentially standing there naked like that, though Jazz didn't feel any real sense of immodesty or embarrassment about it the way many humans did and even some of his own kind. There was a flicker over his form then and silvery armor appeared, making him look like a miniature replica of his real form standing outside. "Ya see? Under the armor, we're all pretty much the same. Our Spark determines who we are, not our chassis, and it's our Spark that decides how big we are, any specialized systems and weapons we have, and our outward appearance. It all comes down to the Spark, which is really the only thing that matters to us." he offered with a shrug.

"Yes, I suppose that is why he got corrected. Though he thinks that because he is technically like you guys that way, whereas I'm not since I'm organic." Cira turned her attention to DJ and the holoform for a moment, raising an eyebrow when he changed the gender of his outward appearance and grinned in amusement. "KITTs been known to switch voices on us now and then ta keep us on our toes." she added with a short chuckle. "But you guys are just so much...more advanced." Cira took a step forward and studied the nanoform when the holoform itself vanished.
She heard KITT's holoform chuckle before he sat up and glanced down from his position as well.
How intriguing! She had never seen the makings of a holoform before. It was all real, contrary to what some humans initially guessed. She found her eyes taking in as much as she could, realizing just how similar the nanoform was to his true form. "Fascinating." she commented with a whistle.
Cira glanced away then once the armor shifted when she realized her eyes were still lingering on his form and folded her arms as if trying to refrain from reaching out and touching the armor that had enveloped his form. "My apologies if I'm staring too much, just I'd never seen what was underneath the holoform before. Neither has KITT really. Learned something new today."

KITT's holoform sat up when he noticed that DJ was demonstrating the makings of a holoform. "I have in fact seen a few holoforms before, and did brief scans on them. I found more than I thought I would. I appreciate being able to see an example with my own 'eyes', Jazz. It is obvious that my holoform will not be the same kind like the Cybertronians', I do not have a robotic shell or sorts to use for mine as an extension. But it is nice to have one to do what I need anyway if I ever have to try and blend in with the humans for whatever reason." he replied. "Yes, I chose the male image because that is what my former driver wanted, I guess my changing voices intimidated him a little. Fascinating, indeed. For now I am going to run some tests on this holoform and leave you two alone though. I can still be contacted regardless."
KITT's holoform jumped down onto the same assembly line that Cira had used, standing there for a moment as he folded his arms and took in their surroundings relative to their perspective. His holoform then flickered away, deciding to go see what was in the other building. He wanted to test the maximum operating range for this holographic image of his personified self. And he had decided to leave Cira and Jazz alone. If Jazz had anything else to say to him he hoped he would be comfortable enough with speaking to him.

Jazz chuckled a bit and held out a four digit hand to her. "I don't mind really, you're curious about how we're put together. I figure you're pretty smart n the others trust ya so, why not let ya see how we're made, ya prolly got a bunch of questions about that anyway, though I dunno how good I'll be at answerin' them. You should see Wheeljack go on and on about how we're built; if ya ever have trouble sleepin' he'll bore you to death in no time at all." he told her, though he looked over at KI3T's holoform when he spoke up, then vanished. Jazz could only really shrug in response, then look back at Cira. "Ya know, I don't get him. What's his deal anyway?" he asked with a tilt of his head.
Outside, Jazz turned and strode over to KI3T, crouching down to look at the black car with the pacing red scanners. "Okay, so, what's with the sudden urge to leave me n the Trunk Monkey alone together anyway?" he asked softly so only KI3T could hear. "Are you thinkin' I'm gonna interface with her when we only just met? C'mon, I got better respect fer people than that. Besides, she's human, I'm an Autobot. It'd never happen; somethin' like that ain't possible between us anyway." he said to KI3T, then added {"Ain't it?"} within his own processor. He had only been back on line and cognitive for the past eight or nine days as it was, and in that short time he had spent most of it trying to reconnect with his friends and run from nightmares that wouldn't leave him alone and let him rest in peace. He had little concern about relations between humans and Autobots outside of their cooperative efforts in fighting the Decepticons. He had learned that Megatron was still alive and that alone had kept him on edge anyway, unable to really relax much, though for now he was trying not to think about anything but enjoying a bit of freedom and simply being alive. Beyond getting reacquainted with old friends and making new ones, he hardly thought about his relationships with others, outside of how close, and at one time intimate, he was to Red Alert.
