Rper: Catalyst Spark
Character type: PERMANANT!
Name: Knockout
Nicknames:
Gender Identity: Feminine Mech
Approx age: Pre-war younger than Jazz older than Bumblebee
Alliance: Decepticons
Function/Job: Medic/Fighter
Height: 12.5 feet
Approx mass: 2,400 Lbs
Cybertronian type: Normal Cybertronian (Rebuilt)
Personality: Knockout is a rather rebellious, a bit hotheaded and eager. He tends to be a bit showy on the battlefield, thankfully he has the skills to back it up. His humor is a mix of sarcasm and snark, as well as the occasional right up insult when someone peeves him off enough. He finds a lot of enjoyment in being in the thick of a situation, it’s a rush.
However beyond that he can be rather insecure, thinking less of himself than he should at times. He can be a bit craving of attention from his friends and allies and just wants acceptance and a bit of attention. Under the snark he can be a bit sensitive, perhaps more so than one would originally think or expect. Knockout, though a Decepticon, does also have a bit of a soft spot for kids. All in all he's really not that bad of a guy, he has an attitude and a half, he does have his meaner moments and a bit of a sadistic streak, but he is no where's near the worst of the Decepticons. Consitering his origins however, such is not surprising. However, one cannot forget this mech's vanity.
Appearance: Knockout is slight of build, his lower body rather slender. Only his armor makes his upper body appear to have some bulk, mostly styled as it is to protect his shoulders and chest from attacks from above which, due to his rather small stature, is a reasonable concern. His chest amour is made up of the front end of his alt mode, landing his headlights on his chest. His forearms use the doors of his alt mode as impact plates.
One set of tires is held at his back, coming from his shoulder blades, his other set is what makes up the ‘heels’ of his feet. His vents are exposed on his shoulders due to the design of his armor. He has an agile build and a rather fancy looking helm design. His thighs and abdominal region are bare of armor, only his hip and pelvic region hold armor in that area. His fingers are very long and tapered giving a near claw like apperance but the tips of which are not too sharp as to not accidentally cause damage to others.
Alt mode:
Holoform:
Joey
Weapons: Energon staff: A long staff with an energon prod on one end, useful for taking down even the largest of bots. He can set it to higher power or lower depending his needs.
Plasma laser emitters: A set of emitters that, when he is in alt mode they can deploy from where his tail lights are, these cannot be used in bot mode.
Abilities: Fast, agile lil sucka!
Strengths:
~His size means he’s an agile little bot, able to out-maneuver most large bots in close combat.
~ A pretty fast alt mode makes him ideal for getting to, and out of, situations very quickly when needed.
~ For one his size he can take some hits, he doesn’t like to but he’s capable of getting thrown around and getting back up.
~ He is actually a pretty flexible bot due to his slender frame, able to bend in some rather interesting ways to get out of an enemy’s grasp.
~ Being a medic his sensors are a bit more sensitive than average, something he can use both in repairing allies, and seeing where an enemy is injured to be able to exploit it.
Weaknesses:
~His size also means he cannot stand up to heavier weaponry very well as a single well planed shot can cause more damage to his frame than it would to a larger bot.
~ He can get a bit antsy and impatient, if this happens in battle or in the wrong situation, it can completely ruin a tactical advantage.
~ He’ll freak out at worse damage due to his history and memories of when he had to be rebuilt, as well as due to his vanity, making him panic a bit and thus, leaving him open for someone to take advantage of that.
~ While he can handle being thrown around, his size also means he can be thrown around a lot easier than a larger bot and if it happens too often the damage will accumulate quickly.
~ He’s a bit cocky, this can lead to over confidence and just plain out bad ideas which can just make things go wrong in every which way.
Family: (Unknown)
History: Knockout arrived a short while after the battle at Mission City, he originally questioned the Autobot/human alliance though he did not give too much resistance about it in the long run. Soon after Knockout ended up sent to Peru with Epps and Longarm to investigate a Decepticon signal. Knockout, being hotheaded, ran off as soon as he spotted the enemy. . .only to come running back with BladeMaster and Ruination chasing his aft. After getting some sense knocked into him by Longarm her turned around and actually did pretty well helping with the fight that followed, even saving one of the older Autobots by holding Ruination back.
Soon after he had another mission where his maneuverability was put to use in chasing Swindle and Deadend in Rome. He once again ran off on his own but this time he managed to get the two Decepticons to crash into each other, causing some damage. He had been a player in a few mission after until one went very, very wrong. At Crater lake he had helped the others when it came to stopping the creation of an artificial allspark.
When the fight between the Autobots, the Decepticons and those from the Initiative, Knockout came out with some serious damage. His body was mangled, twisted and beyond repair, yet somehow his spark and processor had survive, be it by his pure will to live or plan luck. However his Autobot allies were not the ones to find his mangled frame, instead, a Decepticon aligned AI was the one who collected his still living, though shredded frame. The AI built a new frame and full body for him before his laser core, spark and processor was transplanted into it, this newer body was larger, a bit sturdier and still allowed him the maneuverability he was so skilled with. However, the AI, named GLaDOS, forcably reprogramed Knockout, making him forget he had ever been among the Autobots, false memories of serving with the Decepticons were implanted. Though GLaDOS did not earase Knockout memories of who he truly was, merely buried them well out of his reach. He has been serving as a Decepticon medic since his rebuild, unaware that he does not belong among the Decepticons, though those buried memories are beginning to rise very slowly.
