RPer: Suburban Wulf (Chasm)
Character Type: Permanent
Name: Wildrider
Nickname: Wild
Gender Identity: Mech
Approximate Age: Equivalent of a 27-year-old human, acts more like a rambunctious teenager.
Alliance: Decepticon; Stunticon
Function/Job: Terrorist
Height: 16 feet
Approximate Mass: 1.4 Metric Tons
Type of Cybertronian: Normal Cybertronian
Personality: Mentally unstable. These words easily describe not only Wildrider, but the rest of the Stunticon gestalt as well. Wildrider is reckless on the roads, and doesn't care who he runs off while driving. He also heavily dislikes silence, which leads him to be loud most of the time, and makes him useless on missions which require silence. The one thing that keeps him in line is his fear of his gestalt leader Motormaster, and his fear of Megatron. Being the only Stunticon on Earth, however, and away from Motormaster, Wildrider seems to be going through some kind of change. Only time will tell if it is for the better...
Wildrider also cannot stand it when places are quiet. It tends to make him paranoid, and even when he is the only one making any noise it does not help much. As such, Wildrider prefers to stay in busy, noisy places. His want to drive away the silence will usually become an issue in meetings, as he will attempt to fill the silence, just to keep himself as sane as possible at that moment.
At one point, Wildrider actually “broke character,” in a sense, when he met and fell in love with Geri. The blind girl was amazing to him, and he slowly grew attached to her. When he had to leave Earth, he was very hesitant to, and almost tried to hide from his gestalt in an attempt to stay. As time passed on Cybertron, it seemed that his feelings for her were soon forgotten, but it is hard to say for sure.
Appearance: i49.tinypic.com/vyp91j.jpg Violet optics, not red.
Alt Mode: See above
Holoform/Human Form: Ryder, as his holoform is called, appears to be a human male somewhere in his late teens. He has black hair with some red highlights, and his eyes are a deep violet. He wears a black tank top and black pants, with a black jacket over the tank top. The jacket has red accents on it. He has a small, black stud earring piercing in both earlobes.
Weapons: Wildrider has a scattershot blaster and an arm blade in robot mode, and a twin-barrel plasma blaster in alt-mode.
Abilities: Can merge with his brothers to form Menasor.
Strengths: As a Stunticon, Wildrider's vehicle mode is built tougher than usual, allowing him to take more of a beating in vehicle mode than many other Decepticons and Autobots. This also means that fender-bending with Wildrider can be hazardous to the frames of most challengers. His engine is also slightly more powerful, allowing him to reach greater speed faster.
Weaknesses: Wildrider is easily intimidated when overwhelmed, and can act even more reckless when cornered, disobeying even Megatron's orders in order to get out of the situation. His smaller size adds to this, as he, like three of the other Stunticons, run small for Decepticons.
Family: Brothers; Motormaster (Gestalt leader), Dead End, Drag Strip, Breakdown, and Menasor
History: Wildrider and the other Stunticons were created in responce to the Autobot's Aerialbots, and as a result the two gestalts are mortal enemies. Because of their appearances, they were mistaken for Autobots for a time, and able to rampage freely. Unfortunately, as part of a side-effect to their creation, the Stunticons all had severe personality defects, and the only things keeping them in line was their fear and hatered of Motormaster, and their loyalty to and fear of Megatron. In fact, if it weren't for the fact that they formed Menasor, the Stunticons would have been deactivated for good long ago.
With Decepticon activity steadily increasing on Earth, Wildrider made the decision to go as well for a second time, having enjoyed his first trip many years prior. The other Stunticons were not happy with this, and saw it as Wildrider abandoning them. Despite their attempts to keep him on Cybertron, Wildrider left, telling him that he'd scope Earth out for the rest of the team to arrive at a later point in time. After landing on Earth and taking an alt-mode, Wildrider's transformation sequence was badly damaged, leaving him stranded in vehicle mode.
During his stay on Earth, Wildrider has felt more freedom than ever before. Is it the planet itself? Or is it the lack of Motormaster looming over him, keeping him in line. Either way, change is not too far away...
Additional Info: During his last trip to Earth, Wildrider had fallen in love with a human female named Geri.
