<”Sounds good to me, I’ll follow you.”> Trevor said feeling the rain beginning to come down and soaking him to the skin yet he didn’t mind it. He in fact enjoyed the rain, it felt rather cool and refreshing after driving so long and having felt a little warm from wind burn it was a nice relief in all truth. Revving his bike Trevor followed after Abyss with ease, weaving in and out of cars, ignoring the loud honks and curses thrown at them for acting so recklessly.
With another revve of the engine Trevor popped a wheelie on his bike and caught up to Abyss to at least ride up next to her then went back on both wheels. <”Got to say this rain is pretty refreshing don’t you think?”> He asked just to strike up a conversation or just something that wasn’t really meant to be conversational, small talk was fine with him.

"<Yes, but unfortunately prolonged exposure makes me feel rusty the next day.>" Abyss replied.
She wasn't too surprised that the motorcycle was keeping up, but she wondered how long. She wanted to see how fast it could go before it exhausted itself, but she wanted the human to keep up. Company was so nice for a change. Because of her choice of work, she was often pretty lonely: no attachments. That was usually one of her main rules. Usually.
She huffed a metallic sigh and added: <"If I want to enjoy the rain I'll have to stay under some trees when done driving...it seems...you have little else to do?">
Interesting. For the first time in a long time she felt like she could be nice to someone without feeling fake...

<”Guess you have a point, and can’t be out long either though not worried too much from the chances of getting a cold and yes I have really nothing to do at all. Till I’m contacted or actually find some activities outside the military I’m free for anything.”> Trevor replied as he rode along side Abyss without much issue. Though he wiped the visor on his helmet so he could see better and used his other hand to keep the bike balanced.
Sadly it was true he never found anything outside his military career, save for working out and playing the guitar he had at home. Then again he should really consider doing something else too, find other hobbies besides all that. He would retire eventually and Trevor thought he should look into something part time or when he had his off times from military work.

<"Very well. Then be prepared for some sitting in the rain, because I have nothing to do either."> Abyss had the urge to stretch out and NOT be in her alternate mode for once, she kept her disguise as a human night and day, meaning she slept in hotels or suites as humans did on a nightly/weekly basis. When they finally got to the quiet road weaving through the mountains, Abyss's holoform disappeared all together and she transformed mid motion, moving at a sprint to keep up with Trevor while weaving through the trees so she didn't crack the nicely paved road with every other step. At least she knew how to be light on her feet, that was a plus! Unlike more clumsy/less nimble Cybertronians bigger than her or about her size, she knew how to be light on her feet.
<"It feels good to be myself again."> she told him. <"I know humans know about us, but in my job, it's easier pretending to be human.">

Trevor glance sideways as Abyss began to transform, surprised of how sleek her robot form seemed to be as her alternate form. It was actually quite interesting to see the Transformers change from one form to the next, least to the marine it was since he wasn't quite use to being around them quite yet,<"Sure it has to be a pain though. Your hiding who you really are and in a sense you seem quite proud to be who you are Abyss."> Trevor replied as he kept up with her with little difficulty save for the rain that caused him to have to clean his visor now and again.

Abyss thought about this for a moment, having a near perfect idea of what he was saying. <"This is true, but because of my profession, I don't mind making the sacrifice. It is a small one."> It was the easiest thing to do during the day when stealth wasn't on her side, and it allowed humans to be a little more comfortable around her.
They continued on, and eventually she slowed and approached a clearing on the opposite side of the road, looking towards the city they had come from. She walked around some trees, her feet padding lightly on the ground. She took a kneel and surveyed the city with a small city. This place was beautiful, but it certainly wasn't home, and she wasn't sure where that was any more.

Trevor followed Abyss to the clearing and stopped a little ways, turning off his bike and removed his helmet, placing it on the seat while putting on some sunglasses to keep the rain out of his eyes. When he was done he turned towards where Abyss knelt nearby, seeing her watching the city and for a moment he observed her, her frame, her build, it seemed quite complex and in a way beautiful. Smiling to himself the marine just came over to stand nearby Abyss and watched the city,"You ever miss your home? Or well your home planet."He asked.

"A little. Not much now that I'm finding so much to explore here. Pay is good, especially among you humans." Abyss replied. "I'll confess I'm more into money and being mobile for my profession than staying in one place for the concept of 'home'. But I do miss some things about Cybertron. It is a totally different place than Earth. There are things I like about Earth too even though it was not my choice that we move to such a place." Abyss shook her head, knowing there was a reason why she didn't follow either faction with the intense loyalty most had. It just wasn't in her deck of cards, and she didn't plan on changing her deck any time soon.

"Sure it must have been a pain to get use to here, normally going from some place your familiar with to something totally different can be a little overwhelming. But like you said you seem to be doing fine so far." Trevor responded with a slight nod, tilting his head as he added,"As for getting good money that seems what our world is run by, greed and getting the best pay or the largest sum of it. Kind of degrading and shameful but it happens and every type of society has it."
Thinking for a moment Trevor went silent for a long couple of minutes, thinking of what else they could really discuss but nothing ever came to mind. The marine wasn't much for conversations, especially trying to start one so he never tried hard,"Do you ever plan to settle down at all Abyss?"He asked after a while.

"Seldom for long, but I do. I guess it's just a part of instinct, and getting used to a new place. I've been here a while, and I must say, there's so much to do! I admit I'm getting a little tired of my job though, makes me want to move onto something else. Some mech say its no role for a femme, but I'm still here, so I'll make my own choices, no one's ever made them for me." Abyss replied, her thoughts branching off a little bit as she looked up at the night sky. It was nice having the chance to talk to a stranger, one that lived among the kind she often made enemies with. It was a haunting realization of sorts, to be in this position now. Though she didn't kill without purpose, it still made her feel a little guilty and twisted sometimes. Her conscience was beginning to make her very aware of that now that she had long since stopped needing to run from the Decepticons.

"No role for a femme? Seems like they're wrong if you ask me."Trevor said, thinking that was a bit sexist for transformers but he didn't say it aloud, not exactly sure if that was what it could be considered among them. Truthfully Trevor thought Abyss seemed quite suited for her job, her actions at the bar proved it enough and if she had lasted this long why not continue until you wanted to stop? Regardless of the reason the marine didn't make any comment on the whole role part.
"Got to admit though, might be better then a military life." He said, crossing his arms a bit as he now gave a thoughtful look towards nothing in particular. Traveling around and seeing the world always seemed like the best adventure and at some point when he was close to retirement Trevor planned to do just that. He had remained in the military only because he really hadn't found anything more suitable as a career quite yet.

"Somewhat. Our species has been waging a war between two factions years beyond which your kind can fathom. It's a rough life no matter what you do. A handful of us avoided the fighting because we despised it. I couldn't get away from it so I decided to make something of it. I may kill for money, but usually if I see to it that it's worth it. I must say though, your world has quite a bit of unrest in some parts as well..." Abyss didn't think that her perception of killing only when necessary was a weakness like some Decepticons might, but then again, several of them lacked any sense of morality so she didn't care how they judged her even if she did duties for them occasionally.

"You could say we always are on the brink of another war ourselves, nothing close to the scale of your planet's but we have twice in history. What's stopping us now from not going into a full blown war of our own."Trevor said and sighed slightly. Unfortunately what Abyss said and what he had just said was nothing far from the truth since it seemed their world was just as likely to end up a dead planet as Cybertron had apparently been or was. Least that were the details he had heard.
Shaking his head Trevor pushed aside some of his hair that got into his eyes, wiping away some rain that almost dropped into his eyes. "Either way Abyss I sure hope things turn out alright for you, you really seem like an amazing person both inside and out. It'd be a shame to see a possible friend gone."He said honestly as he looked back up at her.

"Yeah...friends are hard to find these days. Not many I like to trust. It's true of what you say, though, our races do have that in common." Abyss shook her head. "I'm not bothered by it too much though, I'm a fighter, I love my job, and it keeps me alive. Even if I do some pretty risky things sometimes." the femme knew he could understand that since he was military. "Again, hopefully we don't cross paths on the wrong fronts."

Trevor nodded slightly, leaning slightly on his bike as they talked and was quite glad to take the break he took now. "Guess we have that part in common, fighting to survive and loving what we do, just something you grow to get use to in your life." He agreed, resting a hand over his shoulder since he had known what it was like to try and survive most of your life. But he pushed back those thoughts for now,"Same Abyss. But I have a feeling if we were to ever meet in a fight you'd really have the advantage here in size and strength."He told her.
