Rper: Catalyst Spark
Character type: Permanent
Name: Victoria Marcus
Nicknames: Vic, Crazy Redhead, Wildfire
Sex/Gender Identity: Female
Age: 26
Alliance: Neutral
Job: Freelance Mechanic/Street Racer
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 175 pounds
Personality: Victoria’s personality is pretty near how she looks like it would be. She’s a rough and tumble type, not afraid to throw down if she needs to. She can be slightly aggressive at first to those who first meet her, this is mostly a defense. She’s stubborn, knows what she wants and goes for it, and when she’s made up her mind it’s very hard to sway her without a good, solid reasoning. She’s blunt and sarcastic, both mixing rather frequently which can make for a rather odd sense of humor sometimes, and even more so by the fact it can be difficult to tell if she’s joking or being serious with some of her comments.
One the other side of it, however, most of the above is a way to protect herself, when you get to know her it is found that she has quite a sense of humor and is brutally protective of those she sees worthy of calling friend, and even more so when it comes to any she may see as family. She’s Not the type to stand behind a friend and let them do all the fighting, she’d much rather stand besides them because, to her, friends are in it together, and they have to be willing to watch each other’s backs. Surprisingly, with those who are smaller or more fragile than herself, the scarred redhead can be rather gentle, this is common among children, especially when they are frightened. She’s a bit hypocritical but she does have the best intentions, even if sometimes it translates wrong.
The final side of her is one you do not wish to be on the business end of. This ‘fight mode’ is seen when she’s pissed, fighting or out for revenge. She can seem almost insane and cocky when like this, though it’s mostly an act to mess with her target’s head. When she is like this, if she does not know or trust you, you do not want to get in her way, and she will shoot a friend in a non-vital spot if they cross her when she’s in her fight mode. She tends to be more prone to adrenaline highs and down right cruel behavior when in this state, seeming like she’s enjoying a fight far too much. As soon as the situation is handled however, she will go right back to acting like her normal self, proving, for the most part, it’s an act, though a degree of it is real, question is where does the mask end and what she’s really feeling begin with this state.
Appearance:
Victoria is a rather scarred up, rough around the edges woman. Just looking at the scarring on her skin tell you she has seen her fair share of fights and pain. She has considerably fair skin and black angel wings tattooed on her back. Her body build it a bit wider than most women and she tends to be slightly intimidating to some due to the fact she looked like she could pick up and throw the average human, which in some cases she can. Her style is another noticeable thing about her, favoring black leather and slightly tough looking designs of outfits, it almost looks as if she wants to build on the rough and tough look her natural build gives her. She often wears spiked chokers, arm and wrist backs, has numerous piercings on both her ears and always has at least a lebret under her lip, she also tends to wear her accessories and jewelry asymmetrically, and ongoing habit.
Preferred Vehicle: Cruising: 1980 Honda Goldwing Interstate Edition. Racing: 1985 Honda Shadow 700 (modded)
Preferred Weapons: Anything she can get her hands on honestly, though she highly favors melee weaponry or unarmed combat.
Strengths: Vic has two primary skills, close range combat and mechanics, she is also rather skilled when on a motorcycle. Her close range combat abilities come from a less than ideal life, having to fight to survive her father and then, having to fight to survive the streets after she was free of him. However she did gain more than scars from her father, she also learned how to repair a variety of mechanical equipment and how to deal with metal working and basic engineering in general. Her skill on a bike came from her favored pass time, street racing and her tricky joyrides. She also holds a tendency to be very tactical, but most would never expect tactics to be behind her actions.
Weaknesses: Victoria can have quite the temper and, while she normally has a pretty good amount of control over it, when she snaps she can become a danger to herself and others due to the unneeded risks she'll take. She also has severe hypoglycemia which can hit hard and fast with little to no warning, if she does not see to the condition it can leave her in a coma, or worse.
Family:
Disowned father: Zachary Marcus
Mother: Jessica Marcus
History: Victoria’s family was less than ideal, she has been beaten, stabbed, misused and even shot by her father before, her mother is a much kinder soul but even that could not undo the pain Vic was subjected to. Vic left home at a young age, opting to survive on the streets over the hell that was her home, there it was a fight, and one she had to be tough and unyielding to survive. Unlike most who went through abuse like she had, she did not turn self destructive, depressed or lessen her own value of herself, instead she used it as her strength, as something to fortify her will and ability to survive. She often used street racing as an outlet for her anger, and as a means of getting income.
As she grew older, though she had dropped out of school, she continued to learn, picking up new knowledge and information at a higher rate than most. When she was 19 she finally managed to secure home and better income doing freelance work, mostly mechanic repair but a bit of her income came from odd jobs as well, mostly being manual labor or some sort or transportation of personal goods for normal people who didn’t have the time to deliver the items themselves. Even with a better life, however, she has still kept up her edgy appearance, it’s just something she sees as a part of her now, her scars a source of pride, showing she survived.
When not working she tends to spend a lot of time studying, though when she noticed the differences in how her mind worked compared to that of others, she decided to seek medical opinion. It was discovered that what she went through in her youth had caused brain damage, which her body adapted to but making certain areas of her mind work at a hyperactive level to make up the difference, a head trauma induced type of savantism, which came to explain why she could do what she could, both when it came to tactics in a fight and the ability to react and adapt to unexpected happenings so quickly. It confirmed and explained why she seemed to be such a good mix of strength, for a human at least, skill and intelligence.
Additional information: Victoria has a shard of the Allspark lodged in her chest. This came from a street race where a shard ended up being on the road and got kicked up by another racer's tire, piercing into her chest in a position where it doesn't pose a risk to her health, but trying to remove it would mean contending with major blood vessels, thus she has opted to not risk a procedure. She thinks it is nothing more than a piece of metal and, due to it having been there so long, her tissues have healed around it fully.

Vic let him pass, just a bit for the time, just enough to get behind him. One plus of her liking for bikes, she could ride the draft behind faster vehicles, and then use that to slingshot around. That was exactly what she intended to do now, getting behind Barricade's alt mode, only half a car's length behind him, the draft from him slicing the air dragging her behind, allowing her to gain speed as she smirked, following for but a few moments until she began getting closer. It was then she hit the little silver button on her handlebars, NoS pumping through the systems of her bike as she used the draft and the speed to shoot pass Barricade. "It's about more than power, it's skill and art at once." she muttered to herself as she got ahead, riding out that NoS boost, not even bothering to check her speed, it was fast enough for her purposes. At this speed the world seemed to blur yet slow at the same time, adrenaline had been unleashed into her body from the pure speed, everything seeming to slow down while her mind continued at it's normal pace, every calculation, shift, change, she reacted tucking herself flat against the bike's seat as she rode the speed boost, a smirk in place on her lips as she heard her quickened heart rate, heard the blood rushing through her body. This rush, the adrenaline, she didn't get it as often as she once did, it was her addiction, the adrenaline her drug, something that let her forget the pain, even if just for a moment, the cocktail of natural chemicals in her body blocked the searing pain of every movement, she felt free of all of it, but such could, sadly, not last.
