(November 12th-2:00 pm, Training grounds)
Though she should have been probably been studying right about now Anna was getting an itch to be moving and doing something, even though she could sit in one place for a while now. However she had decided a break would do and that break would count as sparring, probably a few hours wouldn't hurt since she had been studying her butt off for a while. Not to mention is had been nearly two years since she had had that feeling of battle, the chance to just practice her skills in combat that only had been limited to sparring. One of these days she would have to be on the battle field even if her parents and her uncle hated to hear the news she might join NEST one day.
Sometimes it just seemed the way too protective, trying to shield her away from something she had grown to love: that was fighting. Being a soft spoken girly girl just wasn't her forte, no she was definitely a tomboy and wasn't afraid to get her hands dirty. She also wasn't afraid to knock someone on their ass, she had done so many times during high school and she had the scars to show it. Anna actually felt her place was on the battle field along side her father and uncle, alongside those she had grown up with since she was a toddler. Some would agree while others might say she should stay out of it.
Sighing Anna wasn't going to let that happen, one way or another she would be involved with the war. Coming to the training room she had every intention of training till she was sure she was ready, even then she wouldn't stop ever. A few people were there already, some giving her a nod since the Lennox name was well known around the base and she had always visited the base when she could with her mother. In a sense coming home had been one of the best decisions she made, being gone two years had made her homesick anyway.
Now all she needed was a sparring buddy and it would be a lot better though she would make due with what she had. Coming to the wall she set down a bag she had most of her daggers and a few hand guns in,though strapped to her back was her specially made sword she never left home with save for a few occasions. Turning away from her things she drew her sword from it's sheath and held it at ready as she took a fighting stance, getting a feel for it again since it had been so long.

Cira romped into the sparring room, having not had a chance to use it in a while. She didn't bring much on her person, just a pair of custom retractable wrist blades gauntlets she hadn't used in just as long if not longer. When she entered, she saw a young girl, probably barely approaching her 20's. "Yo, nice sword. Guess ya got a challenger. Uh, ya wanna use that?" she smirked, willing to use her blades if Anna was willing. "Can't say I've met you before. I'm Cira Knight, one of the civilians on contract here."

Anna glanced over as Cira spoke, grinning a bit at seeing the type of weapon she had which wasn't something you saw every day,"I could say the same about your gauntlets. But yea I was planning to train since it's been little over two years since I've had a chance to practice with it, though I wouldn't say I'm an expert on blades." She said, resting it carefully on her shoulder."And names Annabelle Lennox, Anna for short. Though I'm sure you've heard of my father, everyone of the civilians seem to have."

"Yeh I've heard his name. Nice to meet his daughter. Well if this gets too rough we'll stick to hands n feet. Guess we'll bow in and begin!" Cira replied with a smile. She then put a hand over her right fist, bent a right knee and bowed slightly to start the spar. She punched forward with her left arm and releaed the gauntlet with a metallic click, aiming for Anna's face, wary of that blade.

Anna nodded with a grin, sheathing her blade briefly as she placed her right hand over her left fist and bowed before quickly looking up as Cira aimed for her face, leaning back slightly to just barely avoid the strike. Reaching back Anna drew her own blade and brought it around to strike towards her outstretched arm, flat end down as to not cause anything more then a bruise if it hit. The last thing they needed was one of them losing a limb, which on either side that wouldn't end in the best of ways so she would have to be mindful of where she struck and that the blade was always on the flat side.

Cira blocked downwards with the blade she had just struck with to avoid getting her arm hit by the blade and moved low to jab for the outside of Anna's somewhat open rib cage with the left blade (again), simultaneously bending her knees and shifting her posture to reach. To do it, she had to move low and expose a little of her back, but Cira was used to moving quickly so she was certain there wasn't too much risk involved with aiming lower. Cira was out of touch with handling large bladed weapons, because she liked the maneuverability promised by using dual small blades such as wrist blades or Sais.

Anna barely was able to avoid the near strike towards her ribs, turning her side slightly to be more out of reach while she used her free arm to aim for Cira's slightly exposed back. Though she twisted her sword to sheath back into the scabard for the time being, use to going between hand to hand and sword fighting. Though rarely did she have a chance to use her sword in a real fight save for sparring so she often made use of her close combat skills and also learning to interchange sword fighting and hand to hand.

Cira's eyes were constantly moving, so she was able to see the arm moving just in the nick of time having seen Anna sheath the blade. Re-sheathing both blades with near simultaneously faint clicks. As Anna shifted her position, Cira was just about ready to move. She dropped to her hands and ducked the first swing, before moving onto her hands briefly into a rather acrobatic handstand kicking outwards with her right heel towards Anna's face as she swung forward. Whether or not she missed, she would catch her own fall as she began to go forward, but that all depended on how Anna reacted to the heel flying to strike up at her chin for the nanosecond or two that passed.

Anna only had a second or two before she was able to move her head and take a hit to the left shoulder instead, grunting slightly from the impact. But at the same time she kicked out her left leg towards Cira's hands, aiming to try and trip her before she could regain her balance. So far the match was turning out to be pretty equally matched between them though that didn't mean something could turn the tables or they could get tired out at this rate. So far it seemed they would tire out before either one lost to the other.

Cira rolled with that kick, letting herself fall forward and a little to the left into a crouch. Her pose was ninja like, ready to move in a split second. Had they still been using blades, they would have been out as she settled into the crouch. Move she did. She was basically in blade-reach of the teen, so she jabbed forward a little before springing up and driving a left knee towards the left side of her back. She kept her left arm raised just in case, knowing well to keep her center line covered. Cira had been trained well from her father as well as former martial arts instructors, so such form and the style of her moves were well practiced and quite natural.

While Anna stepped back from the jab she didn't have enough time to reach towards Cira's attack with her knee, making her wince slight while at the same time she grew her blade once more. Using her right hand to grip the hilt of the sword she twisted it a bit before turning to strike the flat part of the blade to hit the closest part of Cira that she could reach. But unlike the older woman she had only so much training and still had much to learn before she would be much better then she was now. But none the less she was confident in her abilities to stand her own and at least be able to keep herself from being killed.

Granted with where her leg was at the time, Cira had trouble avoiding that one. She had lowered/pivoted her left arm from the elbow down towards the flat side of the blade with her wrist blade, a spark or two briefly flying off upon impact. "Good, nearly got me there." she commented as she brought her leg back down while blocking and parrying that same arm away since the strike was a little heavy. "Not sure I'd be too good with a long blade like that myself, I've grown used to a smaller pair of blades like these." she pivoted slightly and dropped low to spin to the rear and jab her left blade at the back of Anna's left knee.

“Thanks but I’ve gotten use to the long sword, Sideswipe made it for me a while back so I could learn how to use both blades…”Anna started as she quickly jumped high to avoid Cira’s blade aimed for her knee and landing again as she finished,”along with guns from Ironhide.” With that she aimed her long sword next downwards while Cira was still low in hopes of getting a good hit at least or come close to it.

Cira nodded in response to her statement, and moved up barely in time as she parried up with the blade. She felt the blade graze her upper arm. Had they been using the sharp ends of the blades, that could have left a nice thin but long cut along her arm. Well, Cira certainly wasn't a perfect fighter, but her goal was still the same as everyone else's: minimize damage whenever possible and maximize the damage on others. She moved the same blade up and slid it above Anna's arm swiftly towards her neck as she rose her right leg slightly to knife edge kick Anna's right knee.

Anna quickly leaned just out of reach of Cira’s blade but winced when she was hit by the kick and backed up slightly, having to gather herself again to think of a better way to attack Cira. So far the match had been going pretty well and Cira was certainly a good fighter, better then she was that’s for sure though Anna could see she was improving at least. {“Well an attack is better than none.”}She thought as she lunged at Cira once more, aiming a downwards strike with her long sword.
