RPer: Suburban Wulf (Chasm)
Character Type: Non-Permanent
Name: Rhythm
Nickname: None
Gender Identity: Femme
Approximate Age: Equivalent to a 25-year old human
Alliance: Autobots
Function/Job: Spec. Ops. and Demolitions
Height: 18 Feet
Approximate Mass: 1.9 Metric Tons
Type of Cybertronian: Normal Cybertronian
Personality: Rhythm is somewhat naïve when it comes to the events of the Second Great War. Having been hatched and raised on a Neutral colony that was founded during the First Great War, or the War of the Primes, she knows nothing about the war, or why it is occurring. She has learned a bit about the war, and made her decisions on where she stands, but that doesn’t mean she gets the full history.
Rhythm is also a bit too excited at times, always looking to be of some use to the Autobots, though she does her best to not put herself in extremely dangerous situations. Still, she has been described as being “too eager for her own good.”
Appearance: Rhythm is a medium blue with some black, standing at around 18 feet tall. She has a lithe build, allowing her the flexibility to get where she needs to while working. Her optics are a bright, shining blue, the color starting to cross the boundary to being white, and are typically accompanied by a near ever-present smile.
Alt Mode:
Nissan Skyline GT-R, aka Nissan GT-R
Holoform/Human Form: None
Weapons: A pair of knives and a quarterstaff
Abilities: None
Strengths: Rhythm’s strength lies in creating and disarming bombs. She is even adaptable enough to use her knowledge of bombs she has worked with in the past to be able to figure out how to deal with new types of bombs. She is, by no means, an expert on explosives. Knowing this, Rhythm also is very reliant on her light, lithe frame and her engine power to give her the speed she needs to get out of the kill radius for the explosives.
Weaknesses: Rhythm has a streak of bad luck twenty miles long. It chooses the most inopportune times to show itself, which has lead to more close-calls and near-misses than she would be comfortable with. To add to her bad luck is her overall inexperience. Growing up in a neutral colony for most of her life, she was more recently recruited into the war, and hasn’t had the time to get as much experience as many other Autobots. Rhythm is also a bit overeager, which tends to quite often be a bad mix in Spec Ops.
Family: Unknown
History: Rhythm hatched on a Neutral colony, sometime during the Second Great War. The colony was one founded back during the War of the Primes, and had remained somewhat secluded since its founding. New refugees from the Second Great War slowly trickled in, bringing stories of what had happened to Cybertron. Rhythm grew up listening to these stories, and eventually came to a decision; she was going to find the Autobots, and join the war.
Through one of her (very) rare strokes of good luck, Rhythm managed to find a small group of Autobots who could provide her with decent training. One of the Autobots worked in Spec Ops, and gave her a bit of training in that area, since she’d taken to working to explosives so well. She was taught hand-to-hand combat, but due to the traveling, never learned how to handle any kind of ranged weapon.
A brief skirmish with Decepticons separated Rhythm from the group she’d been with, though she knew where they had been heading. Following the coordinates they’d had, she started to make her way to the planet Earth.
