(December 18, 2027) (Space Above Earth, 8:00 pm, MST) (Landing Site, desert near Roswell, New Mexico) <"Told you we shoulda turned left instead of right!"><"Shut the frag up and tuck in, Mozart! We're about to break atmosphere!">The conversation on the secure comm-link was between a seeker, who was at this moment in her protoform, hurtling toward Earth and her symbiote partner, who had continuously talked and chirped his way through the entire flight. If it weren't for her vow of non-violence, she was pretty sure that Mozart probably would not be able to talk, not even over the com-links. However, as she had that vow in place and that was the only thing that had saved him. Her admonishment came from both annoyance and her own deduction. She figured from the trajectory that they were coming in soon and, within the pod, she was content to insure her symbiote was safe with her. Even if he had been a complete and utter glitch this entire time. //"Firefly, Windsong, at two separate points to the best of my knowledge...if you can hear me, I'm coming in on Earth. I don't think I'll kill anyone. Oh, Primus, I hope I don't hurt or kill anyone."\\With that, she felt herself enter the atmosphere. The burning surrounded them and she winced, really wishing there was a better way to do this. She felt herself being flung through the atmosphere, a shooting comet that then crashed into the Earth in a desert near Roswell, New Mexico. //"I think I've landed."\\ she called and groaned, the pod opening up to allow her to get out. ~"Freedom!"~ Mozart shouted as he leaped out, a cyberwolf/canine like creature leaping out from where he had been attached. ~"You fragging glitch, get back here!"~ she snapped. Patience did not mean she was a saint. Besides, she had no patience for him at this moment.

Her sister. She was coming. No, she wasn't just coming. She was here. Even more convenient, she was almost literally right here. The New Mexico and Arizona areas were two places she'd quickly discovered were great places to fly, and she came out here whenever she could. It was in Arizona that she'd met Starscream. It would be in New Mexico that she met up with Moonbeam again. And so soon, too. From "Never see them again" too "They show up in about a month", there was a decent jump.
And so, while the first comm from her sister only shocked her, she then waited for her arrival, seeing as she was already relatively close to Moonbeam's point of arrival. To the second bond-message, she replied. //"I'm already nearby. Give me a moment and I'll be at your location. Glad you're here, sis."\\
With a warbling trill of happiness, she redirected her flight path in the relatively warm air - which was, by the way, colder than it had been a month ago - and flew at top speed to her sister's location. Moonbeam was here. That meant Mozart, too, was likely to be here. So what about Kitty? She missed Kitty, too. The poor cat didn't deserve to be left alone any more than her siblings did. She was a poor excuse of a trine leader, symbiotic partner, and daughter... She done messed up. Hopefully she could begin to make amends. Eventually.
She arrived after a relatively short period of time, and could now see Moonbeam on the ground below her.

Moonbeam let out a thrum of happiness and let herself twitch with happiness. And then Mozart had to go ruining it by going, ~"Ooooh! Humans are that way!"~
//"I'm sorry I couldn't bring Kitty. Kitty and Mozart got into a spat before I left, so Kitty refused to join us in close quarters. Good thing, otherwise I think I would be informing you of how I barely managed to keep them from ripping each other apart. Remind me to never let Mozart go this long without running about. His glitch is acting up because of it,"\\ she answered softly and grabbed Mozart to keep him from running to the human settlements.
~"For the last Primus time, stop fragging running toward humans! I don't want you to get killed, or worse, disected alive! Get the slag back here!"~ she snapped, trying to keep Mozart from running off.
Mozart whined and dug at the ground, before he yelped. She sighed and looked up when she felt as if Firefly was near. Moonbeam immediatly began to wave.
"Hello," she called.
Mozart let out a confused whine and Moonbeam sighed before she translated it for him. "I looked up Earth languages while waiting. It was fascinating. Mozart can't learn them, though. Not till his glitch settles down again," she added, thoughtfully and, once her sister landed, attempted to hug her.
She had missed Firefly greatly.

As soon as she was close enough, Firefly shut off her flight protocols, transformed, and kicked one foot out in front of her to land with, the other prepared to catch her when she fell forward due to momentum. Hitting the ground, dry dirt particles peppered her, worming their way into the moving parts of her feet. She didn't care. This was her sister.
She half dove into Moonbeam, holding her in a way that communicated, partially, the fact that she had thought she would never see her again, and through the bond tried to express, wordlessly, the pain she had felt and her joy at seeing Moonbeam again. This was a reunion worth being a part of.
However, she replied in a tone that was contradictory to the display that she had just given, using her human voice, with the ever-present cybertronian undercurrent that was inaudible to human ears, but enough to proclaim audio identity to any Cybertronian. Simulated voices could be hard to work with. Fortunately, vocal manipulation was something she was used to. It wasn't enough to translate the language, but it was an identifier. "Humankind does have some very interesting cultural patterns. At times it seems like there's one for every person..."
She greeted Mozart, as well, using her real voice, in their own language, sparing him a warm look as much as she could from her position. She didn't mention Kitty. She didn't have the heart to think much more about her symbiot at the moment. Knowing Kitty, if Windsong was on his way, she'd either be with him or find a way to follow.
She pulled out of the hug at this point, but still held her sister close. "I've missed you, Moonbeam. I'm sorry I left you two like that." She lowered her head in shame, hiding her face from the taller femmes' view. It was a very human motion, but it translated well. "I've been a horrible sister, Moonbeam. I'm sorry." She stepped a little ways back, suddenly conscious of the dirt that had settled in her frame. More conscious, that is - her secondary sensors had been screaming about it for a while now.[/blockquote]

The explosion across the bond would have made Moonbeam stumble from surprise, if she hadn't been hoping for it. She was just relieved that her sister was alive and unharmed, for the most part. She was just as happy to see Firefly and sent that back across their bond happily, hugging Firefly close before they parted again.
Of course, she was expecting the response from Firefly and leaned down so she could catch Firefly's attention by looking up at her. "You are not a bad sister, Firefly. You were a confused and very upset one, but not a bad one," she answered softly, the odd under-current more prominant in Moonbeam's voice then anything else.
She pulled back as Firefly pulled back and sighed. "Now, let me get the dirt out of your gears in your feet. How did you survive this long without me?" she added and shot Firefly a bit of a look.
To the side, Mozart was trying to pull the dirt out of his paws with his dentas and Moonbeam resisted the urge to glare at him. She sighed and shook her head at him. ~"I'll take care of it in a minute, Mozart. Stop it or I'll have to replace parts...somehow,"~ she stated and Mozart whined before he stopped.
Moonbeam shook her head and some fine tuning medic tools folded out of her arm. "Let me see," she ordered, already slipping into her no-nonsence medic mode.

Moonbeam's words were a form of comfort that came from one of the only sources she'd actually listen to. Firefly let out a sound akin vaguely to a purr to express her appreciation for her kind words. The moment was lightened quite abruptly at Moonbeam's teasing tone, and Firefly chuckled a bit, before looking around to try to find a way to offer her foot without ending up on the ground. "There's a couple things the humans say that I find might apply well. One saying goes, 'Rub some dirt in it', whereas the other goes 'Suck it up'. Crude sayings, but they have their merit, Moon."
After a couple of moments of frustrated searching, she activate her flight systems at a strength that, after a moment of stabilizing, would allow her to hover in the air with her feet up. It was kind of a silly position, but it was her sister, and she was a medic. So awkwardness was kind of a thing. Unfortunately, from what she could tell, the bots around here didn't seem to understand that medic meant awkward fairly often.
To add to the maneuver, she wiggled all the little 'inner toes' and the outer toes, giggling a little bit, before leaning back to partially counterbalance the awkward weight shift. She was so glad to be with her sister, she didn't even think of how vulnerable she was at the moment to attack, or anything like she'd been trying to make habit lately. This was their time.

Moonbeam had only ordered her sister to have her feet up so she could pull the dirt out to get her sister's CPU off of bad memories. She shifted a bit and shook her head. "Humans are very strange. How are the 'bots here?" she inquired as she waited for Firefly to stabalize.
Once she was stabalized, she immediatly began to work on getting the little pieces and bits out of Firefly's sensitive little joints. She was careful and precise, the practice she had, despite being in a peaceful place for the most part, helped. She was used to cleaning up the littlest of things, the oddest of dents, and sometimes the most sensative of things, when she could.
Seeker distrust made her job as a medic very difficult.
"What do they expect you to do when you can't 'suck it up' anyway? And please tell me the 'bots around here are more reasonable for medics! It was hard enough without breaking my vow to get any of the work needed done to others," she continued, carefully working at cleaning it out.
Behind her, Mozart let out a low whine and Moonbeam chirred softly, calming him.
He had not had anything stuck in his sensitive joints before and now, being still, it was only aggrevating his glitch.
She'd have to clean him up soon and maybe make it harder for this small dirt parts to get into those sensative joints.
Maybe.
If she had time.
Primus, she hated the war.

Moonbeam's precise motions brushed on her sensors, pulling out aggravates that had been there for a month now, even though she had tried to clean them out. Firefly wondered briefly how often and how well the Autobots cleaned off the dirt under their plating or in gears.
"The bots 'round here are... Well, pretty rough around the edges, for the most part. I mean, I haven't really had a lot of time to deal with them, and, unfortunately, they aren't any more Seeker-inclined than the bots back home." She squirmed a little bit as her sensors were freed from the dusty curse, before continuing. "From what I can tell, the Autobot medic Ratchet is almost feared, but respected, and his Apprentice is... Well, his Apprentice. I don't know much about him. But they're... Generally fairly good for their medic, for what I know. You should be able to fit in. I'd suggest you meet their medic, though." She proceeded to sit up in the air now, keeping her feet as still as possible. It seemed a bit silly, now, her sister chasing her down and cleaning her feet. But she didn't express that thought.[/blockquote]

Moonbeam huffed as she pulled out some dirt she analyzed to be older then the stuff from the recent landing. "No. No one really likes Seekers, Firefly. And do the other 'bots keept as bad of care of their joints as this? Seriously, how many irritants do you have? It's a miracle that everyone isn't shutting down and rusting," Moonbeam questioned, grumbling softly about the evils of dirt.
Mozart, who couldn't understand, merely waited patiently for his turn. "However, seriously Moonbeam, are there any other irritants? I'm only focused on these because of the way you came in," and a way to keep you distracted was a private thought Moonbeam would share with no one if she could help it, "And I really don't want something suddenly jamming," she explained, concerned optics focusing up on her sister.

Firefly let out a sigh that was a combination of irritation and amusement. "Honestly? Their feet are likely better designed for this terrain, seeing as their stuck on the ground all the time." She let out an amused laugh, albeit a slightly stressed one, at her own thought process. "And really? The feet are the worst. I tried not to get too much gunk anywhere else, if I could help it. As a side note, you chose one of the worst places to land." She shot a mischievous smile back at Moonbeam. Somehow she wound up landing anytime she went to the desert. Stupid sand particles. Mud was also pretty horrible, on her top five least favorites. It was mud that was some of the older stuff Moonbeam was currently finding. Yeah, she was back. Firefly was very happy.[/blockquote]

Moonbeam huffed a bit and felt the embarrassment rise in her, even as she worked on finishing up. She did a few, quick, and minor repairs on one of the tiny joints that no one noticed, before she looked up at her sister. "I didn't aim. I just hurtled myself in the direction you went and nearly collided with a few things before I crash landed on Earth. I just prayed to Primus the whole way that I would hurt or kill anyone," she answered calmly and finished up quietly.
~"Time for Mozart now,"~ she stated and Mozart perked up.
With that, Moonbeam easily knelt down a bit and began to work on the delicate paw-work of Mozart. She turned his paw around a bit and worked on getting every last piece of dirt out. The rocks caught in some places and she carefully removed it, fixing as needed.
She also activated the coverings she had already created for his paws, the first paw transforming to fit into the earthy environment. "You'd think he would be better at this, considering his primary function is to dig bots out, not rip them apart for trying to harm me, you'd think he would remember to activate his paw protection before digging," she commented.
She was mostly trying to make conversation with Firefly.
She needed to hear her sister after a month of silence.
Well, silence omitting Mozart's glitching.
At least he knew she only shouted insults at him because she loved him.

Firefly took her now-clean feet back when Moonbeam finished, sitting in the air with legs crossed, like some human meditation master, folding her hands in her lap, perking her wings up. She loved her wings. Without them, flying would be pretty hard. Then she'd be stuck on the ground, and that would be gross. As it was, an occasional foot cleaning wasn't that bad. The thing is, her legs just don't bend that way, so she'd tried some... Interesting... Processes. Needless to say, they just weren't that great.
At Moonbeam's comment, she laughed a bit, her smile widening. "Excitement gets the best of everybody, from time to time." Her tone took a slightly less humored color to it, though, as she realized a couple of things. "When you're ready, we gotta get you an alt mode, and take you back to base. I just kind of hope they didn't forget that Seekers tend to come in packs of three." Despite the slightly serious tone she'd tried to add, she couldn't help but giggle a bit at that last part. That's how she'd have to explain trines to any curious humans, she decided. The word trine was fairly self-explanatory, but with humans, you never know. She decided at this point to watch her sister's delicate work. It was the detail work that made a project come together in many different roles. Hopefully none of them would ever forget that.[/blockquote]

Moonbeam paused and looked back at Firefly, shooting her a look when she saw how she was 'sitting' in the air. "Ah, yes. I don't know if Windsong followed me, and if he did, how closely. He could show up from anywhere to a day to a month from now. But, yes, we should prepare your allies. And we'll probably have to explain how a pacifist is going to live in a war," she answered, almost cheerfully, before she focused back on Mozart again.
Mozart was calm as Moonbeam worked calmly on his paws, reparing little things that would trouble him greatly later. She continued to work, ignoring Mozart's whimpering monologue through their secure comm. link. He was rambling, mostly, and Moonbeam was letting him, especially since he was slightly panicked. She finished up the front left paw and smiled. ~"Now, activate the rest of the protection,"~ she ordered calmly and Mozart stood up, shaking himself out before he began to rush about again, silence overtaking the comm. link, only for him to be spattering on about freedom, and sky, and such else as he ran about.
"Now...how do we get there?" she inquired.

Firefly couldn't help but give an airy, short laugh at that, before shooting up, now hovering in the air. "We walk, of course! Unless you have an alt mode stored away somewhere that you can just put on like a shirt. If we go Northwest a little ways, the US has a couple of Airforce bases where you should be able to pick up a more earthly guise, then we can loop around and head to the DC base. Or we can head South for a while, and loop to the Northeast after that." She liked to give options, rather than just say 'this is how it is'. Felt a bit more free, a bit more informal. Felt more like her, really. Earth hadn't changed her much, yet.
She slowed down a moment to come back to earth, metaphorically. "Orrrr we could wait here and let Mozart run around for a little while. I'm certain he'd appreciate it." So she left it hangin'. This was a cool spot to fly, to chill. DC was cold. Here was warm. She liked here. Not that the cold was extremely horrible, just... Not as friendly.

Moonbeam shook her head with a tiny laugh. "I haven't got an alt mode stored away somewhere, sis, sorry. However, I wouldn't mind a little flight before we head to the DC base. The walk to retrieve an Earth alt-form should help Mozart get his glitch under control in time from him to join back with me, so we can share the altmode appropriately, he'll probably be some extra thing I never use, and then he can go into recharge while we fly. He always falls into recharge in a flight and I really don't want to have him meeting new people while he's....glitching. However, if he isn't calm by that point, we're going to have to let him run around...away from that base. Because, if we force Mozart to travel on anything except his own two feet, he's going to rip out some of his more important circuts," she answered, flipping between sister, concerned medic, and 'mom' to Mozart.
Moonbeam sighed as she heard the silence. ~"Mozart, you slagging Pit Spawn, get back here!"~ she suddenly called out as Mozart tried to sneak away.
~"But...human settlements! I've never seen a human before! I want to see a human, Moonbeam!"~
~"Later, Mozart,"~ she promised and Mozart cheerfully went back to racing around the pair.
"That's what I've been dealing with for a month," she stated and shook her head at Mozart, who was back to singing the praises of being outside.
