With a slightly dejected sigh, Firefly eased herself to the ground, pushing as much of her weight as she could onto the outer supports of her feet. They weren't designed to hold much weight, but they were a lot less sensitive than the inner supports, so she worked with what she could. And then, with a turn, she walked.
And, for her amusement, she activated her holoform so that Mozart could see what a human looked like - even if it wasn't a real human - and had it walk with her, partly to see how long it would take the symbiot to notice.
"Alrighty, then. We have our plan of action. Off we go!" Just a nice expanse of sand and dusty ground to walk on along the way. She'd have to make sure not to step on anything too mean, either. They could get upset. Plants in the area weren't exactly welcoming, either. With this in mind, she and her holoform marched.[/blockquote]

Moonbeam shook her head and Mozart quickly followed after the pair. Mozart was trotting along, cataloguing things in his CPU when he saw the...
~"HUMAN!"~ he exclaimed and rushed over, sniffing at the holoform before he pulled back slightly, confused. He turned around Firefly and the holoform in big circles, while Moonbeam watched, before Mozart went back to running around.
~"Not real human,"~ he whined and Moonbeam cycled her vents in slight irritation.
She then smiled as Mozart went back to circling around the pair, trying to figure out what created it. He was curious, intrested, and would probably not fully remember this later. He would remember the smells, what caused them, but probably not the holoform, beyond whining about meeting real humans.
"And we just got him to calm down a little too. Thanks Firefly," she answered in a half-teasing tone when Mozart sudenly paused and walked over a ways.
~"What that?"~ he inquired and Moonbeam paused.
~"It's called a coyote. They are shy, so leave it be," she responded to her symbiote, who cheerfully went back on his way, leaving the coyote to rush off and away from the large things.
Moonbeam shook her head. "Anyone you like, here on Earth?" she inquired.

Firefly grinned and shook her head at Mozart's antics, but tried to maintain the holoform, making it react the way she'd seen humans react to such things - wide-eyed panic, at first, and then a tinge of awe at the robotic dog before her, her walking path faltering for a second before running to catch up. Oh, and a wary glance over at the Coyote. She almost added that in too late.
Moonbeam's question almost caught her off guard, but she managed an answer with little hesitation anyway. "That depends on what you mean by like!" She chuckled slightly, before continuing. "The bots I've gotten along with so far... Well, aren't all in one faction, to be honest. The Autobots are alright, but Seekers are primarily Decepticon, so I guess they're as friendly as I should expect from them. Twister is a nice bot, too - she's the first flier I met here. Bit of an awkward flight, but she's cool. Oh and..." She stopped at the last name, not sure that her sister would approve of her contact with the Decepticon Aerial Commander, Starscream. She didn't want to make things too awkward, but she wasn't sure how to smooth it over, since she'd already half-started to mention him. There were others she'd met, and she hadn't even started on humans, yet, but... Well, Moonbeam should probably meet the humans herself, anyway. Her right wing twitched at the pause in her hesitation. Would she push it..?[/blockquote]

Moonbeam listened, shaking her head a bit at Mozart's antics as he pretended to pounce on something. "He looks like a deranged turbo rat when he does that," she muttered softly and shook her head again at Mozart's antics before she focused on Firefly.
Okay, she had reached out of the Autobot faction. Moonbeam was rather proud of herself when she didn't immediately start panicking and shaking her sister and asking, 'What the slag is wrong with you?'
For two reasons.
The first being that shaking her sister was not something she wanted to do.
The second being that maybe she hadn't met some of the worst Decepticons out there.
"Yes, everyone seems to have these predetermined patterns that they expect all to follow," Moonbeam murmured softly and she turned to Firefly.
"Who are the others?" she asked, giving her sister a look that suggested lying was not an option.
Pacifist or not, she could find reasons to keep Firefly grounded for a week, at most. She wouldn't do it longer, that would be cruel, but Moonbeam would do it if Firefly lied to her. It was not something Moonbeam liked to think about; people lying.
It was the reason she was wary around Decepticons, for their name was practically 'deception.'
And she was a bit worried for her sister, something that was coming across the bond between them easily.

Firefly deactivated her holoform at this point, deciding that her focus should be in this conversation. "Well... I was flying in this area, and I met up with another Seeker... I told him I was a neutral, because I was pretty sure he was a Decepticon, and I could get away with that... And... He asked me if I wanted to join the Decepticons." She was hesitant as she spoke, but, she added quickly, "I said no." With something akin to a sigh, she paused for a moment, walking quietly, before continuing. "I met Starscream, Moonbeam. And to be honest, he didn't seem like all that bad a bot. To be fair, he didn't know I'm an Autobot, and was when I met him." Starscream was one of the biggest reasons that Seekers were infamous among Cybertronians. And She'd now met him, face to face. And she didn't hate him. She hoped Moonbeam wasn't too upset. A little bit of worry, maybe, but...[/blockquote]

Okay. Ths was okay. Starscream didn't know she was an Autobot. She shifted nervously and then cycled her air through the vents. Mozart was slowly calming down, though he was still racing around, trying to not get left behind...or catch himself on any rocks. "I'm not mad, just worried. Starscream is...well, I've heard enough rumors to be worried," she answered calmly and reached out to gently tap her sister on the head.
"Just be more cautious next time, okay? I don't want you hurt to the point where I can't fix you up," she added softly and then focused forward.
"How far away is this base again?" she inquired, pulling away form a topic that made her very nervous. She didn't like talking about people behind their backs and....well, she had not yet met this Starscream.
She would make a better informed judgement then.

((ooc: Yes, they are traveling very fast. I figured we didn't want to have the thread super-extended with them just... Walking. >.> And yes, I have a map up. Shh.)) Firefly nodded her head low in an embarrassed keen. She did kind of like the other Seeker. He'd been friendlier than some of the Autobots she'd met, for sure. But yeah. She'd be more careful. She had her trine to watch for, after all. Once they were together again, at least. They had been walking a decent while now, and Firefly was surprised that they hadn't come across a human interstate yet.
"The Airforce Base? Um... We'll be half way there... After we get past that." So her previous thought put aside, they had just come up on a fairly major highway, the halfway point, and one of the two they'd have to get past. Once they got in the air, everything would be easy. However, because they were stuck to land, crossing here without alerting the local populace would be... Interesting. "I hope you're ready for a well-timed run, sis. And you might wanna keep Mozart in check. There might be a slight wait before they could cross, but the second one would be worse. Either way, Firefly looked up and down the highway, to watch for a reasonable gap in the human populace. Fun times.[/blockquote]

Moonbeam sighed as she gave Firefly a look. She figured her sister must have found Starscream a bit....safer would be the thing. Hopefully, her Trine Leader, and sister, wasn't falling in love with the other Seeker. She resisted the urge to pull a face at that.
As much as she would uphold her vow, if Starscream harmed her sister, she might break her vow to get vengence for Firefly.
Unless Firefly got to him first.
Moonbeam immediatly grabbed Mozart as he attempted to dart into the highway. ~"Wait,"~ she responded and rubbed his head.
She would send him along in a break and tell him to rush across before waiting for her. "Just tell us when to go, sis," Moonbeam responded, putting her trust once more into her Trine Leader, for Firefly had never lost it.

Scanning the road, she watched carefully to find an opening, before mentally counting down. There was, however, a lot on her mind. She felt like her mind was racing on several different topics, each one just as interesting as the next. Her mental countdown started.
Five. Would she go back to meet Starscream again, even though she stood against everything he represented? Four. Would Windsong and Kitty show up anytime soon, or would it just be the three of them on earth? Three. Would the Autobots accept the second of her trine, or did she herself push them a bit hard? Two. Would she make another huge mistake, and not be allowed to redeem herself in the eyes of the Autobots? One. Would she ever again be able to be the femme her trine needed her to be?
Zero.
"Let's go!" With a quick movement, she went to charge across the road, leaning forward and angling her wings slightly back to keep herself balanced, knowing that Moonbeam was going to follow, worrying that Mozart would get distracted. At least one of her siblings still put faith in her, even if only enough to cross a highway. They had one more, one busier, and then they should be close enough for Moonbeam to scan an alternate form, so they could fly up to base. There were so many questions about her life on earth, and many of them had been troubling her ever since she'd last spoken with Starscream. Cybertron was gone, which meant that this was likely going to be their home for a long time. She wasn't sure she was entirely ready to confront the future much beyond today. Not yet. Moonbeam had to find her place, first. She'd focus on that.[/blockquote]

Moonbeam truly did not know of Firefly's thoughts. She was mostly trying to figure out how to get across without getting hit or spotted. And how to keep Mozart from doing something stupid, like stopping in front of a car so he could investigate it. She shook her head and then grabbed Mozart before he tried to go off again.
~"Stop. Pay attention. Run after Firefly,"~ she ordered and had him in front of her.
Mozart whined and grumbled, but otherwise behaved. And when Firefly ordered them to go, Mozart tore off right after Firefly, easily keeping up while Moonbeam worked on not tripping over her own two feet.
She couldn't wait to have wings again.
She really missed her wings. She managed to get to the otherside and grabbed Mozart to keep him from dashing back. ~"Behave,"~ she warned and carefully began to drag Mozart away from the road.
"Well...that was fun. Please tell me we won't be doing that again," Moonbeam stated.

Firefly chuckled a bit at Moonbeam's query, glancing at her a moment before responding. "That certainly depends on how far any flying jets are from base. We may have one more to cross, or, if we're lucky, we may catch you an alt mode pretty quickly here. Although, I certainly hope that they are out flying. Getting to the base itself is going to be pretty tricky, and I don't want to go fetch them..." Not that she couldn't go fetch them, of course; she just couldn't fetch them without risking injury, and that was never fun.
Humans were really territorial.
With a grin, she turned to walk again. "So... Anything interesting happen recently?" Of course, she didn't mean the whole 'Trine leader fled and left everybody else behind without an explanation' thing, but hey, she was trying to make conversation, and any conversation was better than an awkward silence. Moonbeam sighed. She really didn't like crossing the roads, especially since Mozart was still being...glitchy. If anyone asked, she would not explain what was wrong with him. Mozart was Mozart and at least he wasn't paranoid. That would be very bad on so very many levels that it wasn't even funny.
Moonbeam was pretty positive, if that were the case, that she would have never become a medic. Mozart was already extremely protective of her. Had he been paranoid on top of it, he would probably have attacked everyone in sight that even thought of coming near her.
As it was, she managed not to glare at Firefly. "One month, in a pod, with Mozart chattering away and glitching like mad. Besides my patience dying a horrible agonizing decommision and then being brought back online, nothing new is with me," she answered dryly and shook her head a bit at her sister.
~"Mozart, will you stop running off! If you get a cactus caught in your gears, I will not be pleased, do you understand me you gitchmouse?"~ she called out.
~"I am not a glitchmouse! I am a glitch-wolf!"~ he argued.
Moonbeam groaned. "He's gotten worse," she added.

Her sister was worried about Mozart. It made sense, really, that she would be worried, but what had to be done... Had to be done. "Well, hopefully there'll be somebody flying out here. I could go fetch them, but I can almost guarantee you that Optimus'll here about it, especially if I have to do that for Windsong, too... And I can't do it peacefully, chances are they aren't affiliated with us, or even possibly against us. Not all humans appreciate us, after all." She looked at her sister somewhat sympathetically, before kneeling down, balancing on her front toes and reaching out for Mozart, an attempt to call him over and calm him down. She wasn't gonna wrestle him into calming down, it would have to be his actions, but she would try. ~"Come here, Mozart. Lemme talk to you for a moment."~ She glanced up shortly at her sister, before returning focus to her symbiot.[/blockquote]

Mozart perked up at Firefly calling him over and he raced back over. Moonbeam watched him, knowing that, despite how much she loved the little moronic glitch, he tried her patience and could probably fry her CPU the amount of times he had tried to make her panic this past month. She was seriously worried about his own CPU, while at the same time was unsure if he would ever recover from a month in space travel, unable to move.
~"Yeah?"~ Mozart asked, trotting over easily to Firefly.
He seemed to almost be vibrating in place, over-sensitized to everything all around after a month of practically nothing, except for the pod and them. He twitched and whined a bit, before he got distracted by a new scent, twisting to look at where it was.

Mozart came as requested, but the lil' symbiot was absolutely wired. As he turned his head away, his attention quickly shifting to another target, Firefly reached out carefully to make him look her in the optics. It was a gentle motion, but all the same, a definite one. ~"Look here, now. Calm down. I promise that when we get where we're going, you will have plenty of time to explore, to meet a couple of humans, to see all the weird stuff they've got, right? But to do that, you're going to have to relax. Calm yourself. Take a moment to focus. If you can't calm down, all you're doing is making it take longer before you can see them. Alright?"~ She really hoped her little speech would work, her calm voice and solid reason hopefully helping to construct a path for his erratic behavior and his sudden desire. She tried to convey to him that he would have to calm down, as she continued to gaze at him - hopefully still into his optics - with her head tilted at an angle and her facial features were set seriously. With a low-for-her hum, she tried to send a calming vibe to the small bot, a vibration of a different sort, a vibration of gentle, reassuring, vaguely musical sound, like a tuneless lullaby. It had been a while since she had had to try to calm Mozart down, but hopefully this worked. If not, she would continue humming, developing a base tune to at least lull him into calm. She had absolutely no idea if this would work, but maybe it had a chance.[/blockquote]
