Deconstructor certainly was more focused on the road, since he wanted to enjoy his antics without the humiliation and interruption of a trip to the medic later, so it was a good thing Abyss informed him about the new arrival! He swerved out of the way as a piece of debris from the fellow Decepticon's landing came at him - nearly hitting a human child in the process. "Whew! That was close," he commented. "I don't want that Earth creature's nasty organic insides all over me. Primus, I'll be glad out of this residential area!" Then he remembered the visitor, and how he'd failed to formally introduce himself. "Welcome aboard, you! I'm Deconstructor... now try and keep up!"
With that, his entire vehicle form seemed to dissipate into the air as he once again channeled electromagnetic energy through his systems. A few micro-kliks later, he rematerialized, several meters ahead of where he'd disintegrated, and continued speeding ahead, finally coming out of that residential neighborhood.

"I'm quite sure that counts as cheating, but nevertheless..." Abyss muttered mostly to herself and kept moving on the road. Carnage, however, just tore through meridians, lawns, and jumped over them like they werent even there, following Deconstructor relentlessly and recklessly without a care in the world. Abyss clearly had diffrent ideas, but at least she was keeping up. She wasn't out here to cause unecessary damage, but she did want to have fun. It did occur to her that she was the old lady, the senior among hte two here. That part amused her greatly. {"Guess I'm spending an afternoon keeping an optic on rambunctious males. Could be worse I suppose."} she thought to herself. A small grin would have been seen on her face were it not for the fact that

"Cheating? There a-ain't no such thing when it comes to maneuvers!" Carnage continued to pick up speed where he could, testing his alternate mode's chassis as he moved over uneven surfaces and brushed by various items in the way to take the same path Deconstructor had established. "Name's Carnage, demolisher at your service!" he revved his engine, meeting the younger Decepticon's location quicker than the femme apparently tagging along. He didn't care what their intentions were, he was just here to help cause trouble if it was welcomed.

"Nice to meet you, Carnage," Deconstructor responded. He was impressed - most mechs wouldn't have been able to keep up with his precise yet reckless maneuvers so easily!
At last he could see the city. He made a sharp turn to avoid a car leaving the city, and the sound of screeching tires could be heard loud and clear. However Deconstructor remained completely unfazed and continued speeding and swerving around cars for the remaining short distance until he was actually inside the city... Only then did he slow down, since traffic made it much more difficult to perform complicated maneuvers and the maverick didn't want to attract the attention of the human police officers. {"First I'm going to blow up a building... THEN I can see about blowing up some cops to go with it!"} As he often used his holoform to blend into the human culture as a means of entertaining himself through their stupidity, Deconstructor had a real disdain for arrogant police officers. But that was a matter for another time.
As he drove along one of the main streets of the city, the explosives technician examined the buildings around him. He was looking for one that would put on a particularly dramatic show when collapsed... Something that would really panic the humans, freak them out so he could watch them run around squawking like the two-legged retrorats they were. In particular he tended to favor the glass front buildings - Concrete made a dramatic cloud of dust when exploded, but glass, if exploded outward in just the right way, created shrapnel that could travel for half a mile or more. Leaving mangled humans on the street instead of buried under the rubble... what better way to incite panic!
With that thought, finally Deconstructor selected his target - a tall office building completely enclosed by glass windows on all sides. He took a sharp turn into a parking garage across the street from his chosen building, nearly running a Honda Civic off the road in the process, parked, and activated his holoform. The human projection immediately ran out of the garage and across the street in the path of cars, many of whom honked their horns angrily and shouted profanities... Not that Deconstructor was paying attention. He was too intently focused on how that building would look as a shower of broken glass slivers flying through the air at high speed.

="I think I'll survey the perimeters in this area and plant some surprise bombs, to make everything more pretty!"= Carnage told Deconstructor, moving around the parking garage to a nearby street and taking his time while he dropped some timed landmines to go off when they were ready. Meanwhile, his holoform snuck around in nearby alleyways to plant some C4 in the corners by some dumpsters or stairwells, flickering about busily.
His real form noticed that the other femme was merely observing for now, as if hesitant. in truth, Abyss preferred not to needlessly kill others- but on the flipside, she had to admit this planet was pretty well overrun by humans.

="Great idea!"= Deconstructor responded as his holoform walked about the building, unscrewing the cover plates of the electrical outlets and putting a chunk of Semtex in each one. His system was very simple... There was a relay switch stuck into the easily malleable plastic explosive on one side, which was connected to the building's hot wire. Deconstructor's ability to channel electromagnetic energy allowed him - and only him - to close the relay switches, sending an electric current through the explosive and instigating the detonation. The maverick Decepticon loved this system he had engineered, this simple, innovative system... Using the building's own wiring as a detonation system, eliminating the need for detonation cord and blasting caps, both of which are incredibly difficult to install while maintaining a low profile. It was so basic... and ingenious!
{"This is going to be awesome!"} Deconstructor thought as his holoform ran up the stairs to the next floor, placing explosives in the outlets near critical structural columns. It was amazing how humans were so paranoid about attacks, about suicide bombers, about their own mortality and yet nobody suspected a simple electrician. Humans were so stupid... and it would be very, very amusing to watch them panic and die.
