RPer: Suburban Wulf (Chasm)
Character Type: Non-Permanent/Plot
Name: Nathan Wallace (Cybertronian name forgotten.)
Nickname: Nate
Gender Identity: Mech
Approximate Age: 15,000 years, appears to be in his mid to late thirties.
Alliance: Neutral/PoE
Function/Job: Medic/Surgeon
Height: 6’6”
Approximate Mass: 350-375 lbs
Cybertronian Type: Pretender
Personality: Nathan can be considered a bit of a Type A personality. He is normally high-strung, and can be easily agitated when his sense of order is disrupted. He doesn’t normally get angry in the sense of yelling or shouting, but when he does it normally means he is very angry. His temper has a long fuse to it, so it takes a lot to make him angry. Messing with him or his sense of order just irritates him and gets the offender the silent treatment for a short period of time.
On the flip side, Nathan is a loving and caring father for his daughter. He does everything he can to keep her safe, though it can be considered going a bit overboard. He keeps her sheltered and locked away, not wanting to risk those he works for harming her or discovering what she, and by extension he, is.
Appearance:
Alt Mode: N/A
Holoform/Human Form: See Above
Weapons: Whatever medical tools he may happen to have on hand.
Abilities: None.
Strengths: Nathan is quite adept in the medical field. Having been on Earth for so long, he actually made his way through medical school and received a degree in medicine, and graduated in the top of his class. His specialty is surgical procedures involving organs, and was a well-known organ transplant surgeon before joining PoE.
Weaknesses: Nathan sometimes forgets that his strength is not what it used to be due to the chemical used to protect his identity, as well as his daughter’s. He tends to push himself too far quite often.
His love for his daughter could be considered another weakness due to his overprotective nature. He would do anything to ensure her safety, even if it meant his death.
Family: Wife; Marni Wallace. Daughter; Shilo Wallace
History: Nathan left Cybertron during the early years of the war, not wanting to get involved with either side at all. He wandered through the universe, and ended up making planet fall on Earth around 25 years prior to Bumblebee’s planet fall. From there, he immersed himself within the human race, changing his organic appearance to one of a younger boy, and slipping into the orphanage system. He never was adopted, but he was an adult on Cybertron, so learning to take care of himself wasn’t much of an issue. While in the orphanage, he’d gone through the required school system, and earned a high school diploma. With his human data in the legal system, he was able to apply for loans to begin medical school.
He’d already graduated medical school, and was engaged to Marni, when the battle in Mission City took place. He hadn’t told Marni about what he actually was, and hadn’t been planning to, especially after the battle. Later that year, they were wed in the traditional human fashion, and the next year their daughter was born.
It was Shilo’s birth that let out Nathan’s secret to Marni, and while she was upset that he hadn’t told her from the beginning, she still loved him, and accepted him. He had explained that he was perfectly content living as a human, not even knowing the developments that Techno Organics would go through. He wouldn’t know for quite some time either.
Not long after the battle in Egypt, a secret organization that had been slowly gaining members laid their eyes on Nathan as a potential member. Subtle approaches showed that he had no interest in joining. So, they used a different method. One day, while he was at home taking care of Shilo, they kidnapped Marni while she was going out to get groceries, and informed him that if he joined their organization and worked for them, she would be kept safe. Knowing that all three of them would likely end up dead if he didn’t comply, he agreed, and also began searching for a way to mask what he and his daughter were before they could be found out. He found that tiny nanomachines programmed to emit a specific electromagnetic frequency worked quite well, but they had to constantly be replaced. Upon producing a suitable amount of the nanomachines, as well as a syrup-like substance to protect them, he began administering it to both himself and Shilo, explaining to her, when she was older, that she had a blood pressure disorder, and the medicine helped her. For his, he made sure to never take it while she was around, so she does not know about it.
Now, he unwillingly works for Preservers of Earth, and is trying to find a way to get Marni back so that he and Shilo can get away.
Additional Info: In order to protect the identity of himself and his daughter, he created a myriad of nanomachines that produce an electromagnetic field that masks the radiation that their Sparks produce. The field’s side effect is that his strength as a Cybertronian is greatly reduced, making him only as strong as a human of his age, and even weakening his inner skeletal structure to near the same strength as a human’s, making it much easier for him to be injured by things that normally wouldn’t have affected him.
