Ratchet stood next to Jazz, listening to what Jolt said and nodding in response.“We will do whatever it takes, Jolt," he said, looking at Jazz in that moment as Jazz took his hand. “Jazz... there is no need to apologize, my friend. You’re here and safe now...” he said, giving Jazz's hand a assuring squeeze. He looked back at Jolt and saw the nodes on his laser core... He himself didn’t know what they were either. “Jolt, I agree... very gently remove one. I will monitor Jazz in case anything goes wrong,” he said, looking at his friend, but seeing the others there as he turned and glared at the Decepticon flyer talking to Optimus. Ratchet then turned his attention to Jazz again. “It's okay we will get them off your laser core, Jazz, but we have to be careful to not harm you...” he said, nodding to Jolt.

Wavelength simply nodded at Optimus's response, watching via his holoform as thing unfolded. Though the glare of the Autobot medical chief did not escape his notice and his holoform's eyes closed before, with a sigh, the holoform disengaged. Wavelength himself then stirred, optics opening as he forced himself back to a seated position. "It. . .it seems at. . .at the least one is displeased with my presence here. . .I do not want to make the one overseeing the repairs to Jazz uncomfortable, he needs his focus. I have a feeling he'll be able to focus better if he is not worried about a Decepticon in the med bay." the small flight framed mech said as he bent the light around him. For all visual intents and purposes, the small Decepticon seemed to vanish, unable to be seen however he was very much still there and the sounds from him forcing himself to his feet, as weakened as he was, could still be heard "I. . .I will wait outside. . .until things in here are seen to, so. . .so Ratchet can focus." the young mech stated, though to all the others in the room it would seem he was a disembodied voice at this point, unseen but still heard and, in truth, if someone touched where he was he would very easily still be felt. He wavered a bit, the only sign of this being the sound of his hand resting on a wall to steady himself as he used the wall for support, moving towards the door, slowly, unsteady, visually unseen though not unheard. He truly did not wish to disturb the focus of the one who had the greatest chance of repairing Jazz and, in Wavelength's still somewhat foggy processor, removing himself until the issue was seen to was the best way.

Jolt nodded at that, moving to grab a tool capable of gently, precise cutting before moving to begin to separate the node from Jazz's frame. He kept his hands very steady, moving very slowly just in case and prepared to cease the cut if anything showed to be array. The blue medic kept his hearing focused on Jazz's reactions however, just in case while he kept his visual focus on the task at hand, unwilling to accept any mistake in this. He was very careful, knowing that, with the pain meds Jazz had, there shouldn't be any pain, though just in case, he was ready to halt the action.

Charter continued to send Jazz soothing sensations, also adding in a sense of reassurance that nothing was going to happen to him. He did his best to hide the concern he held for the current situation. He could offer no real suggestions concerning the nodes, he was not a doctor in that sense, all he could do was be there to keep Jazz calm through the process, though he trusted the judgment of the medics.
He couldn't blame Jazz for being afraid. Every emotion Jazz was feeling was leaking through to him to some extent as he felt them. He knew the love Jazz had for life and for his friends, the guilt he felt for leaving them when he died, and naturally the fear that it would all happen again, that his return would not last. Even if he didn't need to feel some of them, such as the guilt, each was justified in his mind. These things could be worked through, but now was not the time. While such would yield relief the process could be mentally straining initially, a strain that could be detrimental in the current circumstance.

It pained Optimus a great deal to see Jazz's state, being unable to do relatively nothing except watch along side some of his team. Though when he heard Jazz become concerned about the nodes Jolt pointed out the large red and blue rig could only wonder what they were, his thoughts briefly interrupted when feeling a hand on his upper arm. Ironhide coming in with Cira and KITT was really no surprise, but he nodded at them and frowned at his old friend's grumble. "We cannot exactly say they are parasites just yet Ironhide, we do have to see for ourselves what they are."He pointed out, really hoping they were not as such.
But when Wavelength seemed to catch Ratchet's gaze it made Optimus sigh, especially with the fact the others would not likely trust the smaller mech being there all because of his faction. "Wavelength, you are in no condition to be moving."He said to him, despite the fact the flyer made himself invisible. Though that ability made Optimus quite surprised, having never come across such a unique ability such as this, guessing that this was what he had meant not too long ago. But it was difficult at first to make out where the young mech was until Optimus followed the sounds of where his hand moved along the wall and his feet on the ground.
"Wavelength I insist you stay,"Optimus said kindly, moving to where he was before gently reaching out and managing to grip his shoulder to for one keep him steady and to stop him from where he was. "You are welcomed to stay just as anyone here, especially since you were the one that informed us where Jazz was and saved his life."He said in a firm voice, briefly flashing a look towards the others who thought otherwise for his judgement. "Now lets get you back to that berth, sounds like you will collapse at any given moment."Optimus finished, keeping his arm out to allow the younger mech some support.

Red Alert kept a firm grip on Jazz's hand as Ratchet and Jolt began to work, stealing a glance over to where Optimus and Wavelength were talking, or more of Optimus chasing Wavelength down as the young Decepticon tried to leave. While the fact that he was a Decepticon unsettled Red Alert, the young bot had also given up a lot from his own systems to help Jazz. For that, he did have the paranoid mech's thanks, even if it might be a while before he said anything.

Jazz tried to relax, clinging to Red Alert out of fear, even with Charter's calming efforts, which he certainly appreciated and inwardly held onto him as well. He tried to think of happier times before the war with his friends, the good times they shared, the jokes and laughter... Then He felt the blade press in, starting to cut between his laser core shell and one of the fluid filled opaque nodes attached to his laser core. In that moment, all Jazz knew was searing pain and he screamed, frantically fighting to get away from that pain as the nightmare reared up in his mind again, feeling himself being ripped apart all over again.

Hearing Jazz' scream was the only warning they had before he started thrashing madly and it was all Wheeljack could do to pin him down. "Jolt, stop! His Spark!" he yelled, and though he couldn't hear the frantic pulsing over Jazz' screaming, he could see the uneven throb of light that radiated through parts of the laser core where his neural system linked up to it, and along the intact neural threads in his chassis. He triggered the life support umbilical to release a sedative to put Jazz in stasis and stabilize his Spark before it destabilized completely. It took several long moments before his screaming and thrashing subsided, then he slipped into quiet stasis, though only Charter could see the nightmare Jazz was fighting in his mind. "Slag, we can't take them off without killing him in the process. We just got him back, for Primus' sake!" he muttered, more to himself than to anyone else, though the others around him could hear him clearly enough.

Ironhide winced and turned away for a moment. He simply could not bear the sight of Jazz so terrified and in so much pain. As much as he treasured Jazz as a friend and fighting companion, he had to get away from the horrific sight before him now; it reminded him far too much of when Jazz died twenty years ago. It tore at his Spark then, and it was worse now. He carefully picked Cira up off his shoulder and moved her to a place she could see while still out of the way. "I gotta go, I can't stay here right now." he offered her softly. "I'm just in the way here anyway, but ye'll be alright here." He lowered his head then and headed towards the door, wanting to just slip away from the scene, hoping Jazz would be alright.

Cira (Kira) frowned as the big black Bot moved her off his shoulder. "But he needs you, your presence is what matters, right? Optimus requested Wavelength stay, that means you probably should too." Cira asked with a frown as she watched Ironhide walk to the door. Neither Cira nor KITT were going to stop him, but Cira thought he should stay. Any close friend of Jazz's should stay. THEY were strangers, and THEY should technically be the ones leaving. "I should be the one leaving. Car and driver are the ones in the way. Jazz need those he's close to."
As Jazz's discomfort and screaming persisted, Cira winced, unable to avoid looking away for a bit as she spoke.

KITT would remain silent, also feeling similarly as Cira did on the matter. He would leave if she did, but only then. He too wanted to support the Autobots even though he didn't know that many of them that well yet. One had to start somewhere after all. KITT was always sort of indifferent to other sentient beings because of what he was, but that was the least of his foremost thoughts/concerns right now. That didn't keep him from sticking around to support fellow allies. Plus it helped he didn't take up much space.
His twin scanner paced steadily as he observed the others with the usual continuous soft hum, drowned out by the voices and Jazz's screams.

Of course, Ratchet heard Wheeljack's comment. "We're going to have to do the best we can to make this gentle."
He noticed they only affected Jazz's core slightly at their connecting points, and when gently touching them and taking a detailed scan, they were actually filled with liquid. They were linked to him, as if growing off of him and relying on his Energon and nanocells. "Jolt, let's get this area done while he is in stasis. We should avoid whatever those things are for now, just in case. Trust me on that, it's causing him unusual amounts of pain trying to do so. As far as I can tell, they've not caused any real harm. Thanks for the save, Wheeljack." he continued the repairs, being more gentle in his work while still trying to be as precise as he possibly could. "Primus, I don't think I've seen anything like this."

Wavelength paused when Prime found his shoulder, sighing lightly "I am the enemy, even if it is only due to a label, I do not wish to make the others uncomfortable with my continued presence." he said, beginning to do his old habit of mimicking Soundwave's modulated voice but he couldn't keep it completely monotone, he always had issues doing that. This was a defense mechanism, to hide his emotions which, after seeing what he had this day, were beginning to get a bit torn.Turning to face Prime, he still wasn't completely stable as he unbent the light around him, now visible once again, his face mask in place once again, hiding his lower face. Though, when Jazz screamed his attention snapped to the damaged mech "Parasites do not cause that type of pain when removed. I have seen Knockout remove them from another before. They may well be something else. Perhaps a closer look is in order." he said, keeping that little mimicry up for the time being. It was a distraction, he'd sort his thoughts out later, right now he just didn't wish to deal with them and maybe, just maybe, if he helped a bit Ratchet wouldn't be so prone to glaring at him in the future.
He didn't even lift a hand, he just looked to Jazz's broken body, catching the moving rays of light that was reflected by those bumps and used that to make a much larger replica of one of the nodes above Jazz's frame so it was easier to see every detail with his ability to bend light, creating pretty much a completely controllable hologram but with much more clarity than even cybertronian tech had managed. "There's something within it but it's moving freely, meaning, whatever is within is not completely anchored to him. The subtle shifts of light show me even movement that even the most advanced medical technology on Cybertron would miss, I enlarged it so you can see it. The node itself is fluid filled, much like an egg but it is Cybertronian in nature, so it's not from any Earth creature. One thing worth noting it that it is pulsing with his own spark, whatever they are they are coming from him, his own body is supplying them, they aren't taking it by force, they would be moving differently if they were. These are things your scans cannot pick up, but I can due to my abilities. The way they are attached also is not consistent with that of a parasitic entity. There are no signs of warping around the attachment point which would show a force puncture into his body, it is smooth so these are no parasites you are dealing with. The best option is to observe them and his state. If I am correct and they did form from him, there should be no ill effects." Wavelength explained, keeping his enlarged illusion of the node up so those working on Jazz could inspect it themselves if they wished to do so. His voice had started out in that monotone but, ask he explained it slipped back to that gentler nature once more and, all the time, he remained near Prime, almost leaning on the larger bot for support.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Jolt:
Jolt stopped touching those nodes real fast when Jazz screamed and was about to respond to Ratchet when that light based mockup of one of the nodes appeared, it was then Jolt froze for a moment, just looking at the thing, a glance towards Wavelength and then bak at studying the thing "Whoa." was all he said before looking over at Ratchet "Umm, so. . .uhh. . . What do you say? The kid has a point, I think. . .call's on you Ratch." Jolt said, moving to rest a hand on Jazz's shoulder "Don't worry Jazz, we'll figure this out, just keep yourself calm, alright? That's the best thing you can do to help us right now."

Charter felt the sudden immense pain shoot into his processor and echo through his entire body, the shock and pain causing him to nearly fall over, taking in deep, heavy cycles of air. His instincts screamed at him to break the connection and stop the pain but he refused to, the nightmare had returned and he was the only one there to help Jazz fight it. Before he could gather himself enough to tell Jolt to stop, Wheeljack had beaten him to it, which he was thankful for. But the nightmare remained even after Jolt had stopped, and now that Jazz was in stasis that was all there was for him.
It took a moment to steady himself within Jazz’s mind as well but once he had he went straight to work. Forming an energy sword and shield he charged at the nightmare version of Megatron, planning to get him away from Jazz and keep himself between the two. He was more than willing to fight one on one with Megatron to protect Jazz, he was planning on it, and if he ended up torn apart because of it, so be it, he would rather that than have Jazz suffer through it again.
