RPer: Suburban Wulf (Chasm)
Character Type: Permanent
Name: Shilo Wallace
Nickname: Shi (pronounced “shy”)
Gender Identity: Female
Approximate Age: 17 years old (Born 17 September 2008)
Alliance: Neutral
Function/Job: Student
Height: 5’4”
Approximate Mass: 190 lbs
Type of Cybertronian: Techno Organic
Personality: Shilo is something of a quiet girl, but this stems from having very little contact with others. Because of her apparent blood condition, she is not allowed outside, less the results be fatal. Still, she is far from completely socially awkward, and does know how to converse with others. She typically becomes more confident in a conversation when it is about topics that she likes.
Given the chance, Shilo can also become very rebellious, deliberately disobeying some of her father’s orders and leaving her room to talk to others. She does so not out of spite, but out of a want to see the world and actually experience it. As much as she loves her father, she does sometimes hate him for keeping her so locked up and away from the world.
Appearance:
Alt Mode: None
Holoform/Human Form: See Above
Weapons: None
Abilities: None
Strengths: Shilo is a smart girl, having passed the years by reading whatever she could get her hands on. She has very good retention of what she reads, especially if she writes it out, so she hand copies whatever she reads as she reads it.
Shilo is also good at remaining hidden if she’s really trying to not be seen, and uses this to sneak out of her room when she wants to go outside for a bit without her father noticing her.
Weaknesses: Because of the medication she is taking, Shilo is somewhat weaker than a normal human. She is prone to spells of dizziness, and even possibly fainting if she does not take her medication, or if she strains herself too much.
Family: Mother; Marni Wallace (missing). Father; Nathan Wallace.
History: Shilo was born in the year 2008, between the battle in Mission City and the battle in Egypt. Her father was Nathan Wallace, a Cybertronian Pretender who had chosen to immerse himself in human culture instead of becoming tangled in the war that had consumed his home planet. He worked as a surgeon at a nearby hospital. Her mother was Marni Wallace, a regular human who’d worked at a restaurant before meeting Nathan. Shilo does not have any memories of her mother, as the secret organization known to its members as “Preservers of Earth” kidnapped Marni prior to Shilo’s infantile amnesia taking effect.
She has been raised by only her dad since then, and does not know about his true identity, or even that she is not entirely human. Living near PoE, she has not been told about where her mother actually went, or what her father actually does. All she does know is that she, apparently, has severe iron anemia that gives her extremely low blood pressure. The silvery syrup her father has her take regularly, he claims, has the iron she needs to keep her blood pressure up. What she doesn’t know is that the medication is actually what is causing her condition, and while there is iron in the syrup, there are also nanomachines that create the EM field that draws the iron out of her bloodstream. For now, Shilo is semi-content with where she is in her life, but as her 18th birthday gets closer every month, she gets more and more rebellious, pushing more and more for a little bit more freedom.
Additional Info: In order to protect the identity of Shilo and himself, her father created a myriad of nanomachines that produce an electromagnetic field that masks the radiation that their Sparks produce. The field’s side effect is that her development as a Techno Organic has halted, resulting in her having no powers or transformation, or even much in the way of Cybertronian structures that had not been present before the “medicine” started being administered to her. Another side effect, because of her more human nature, is the fact that the medicine gives her iron anemia, which causes low blood pressure. She will pass out if she does not regularly take the medication, but waiting past that point will result in the medication’s effects ceasing.
An interesting fact, however, is that she has a development that other Techno Organics would not have. Because of the electromagnetic field drawing all the iron in her blood to the nanomachines coating her neural system, the iron has shaped to the neural threads and formed a metallic coating, protecting her neural system.
