((Jully 27th, 2027))
She remembered this city all too well, she had been hoping to avoid coming back here but when someone's offering to pay you 15,000 bucks to run a package to their daughter, you don't exactly turn it down even if you dislike the city. This was one of her legal runs, a family heirloom from the girl's recently deceased grandfather, a necklace with a ruby pendant. She had done business with this family before, they just normally didn't trust traditional shipping methods, but she had never failed with one of their shipments so she got the job. What she disliked so much was returning to the city where she had once had that little racing accident, and the city where she gained that piece of metal in her chest that near killed her, but the money was good, this was one of her honest runs with a trusted client, it couldn't be all that bad.
She had made her way nearly to the address of the recipient before she decided to grab herself a bit of food, pulling over to a park that had a few out of the way benches to sit. At least she wouldn't be snappy when she delivered the package, that was a plus. With the box locked securely in her bike's hard shelled saddle bag, the bike right never to her, she doubted anyone would give any trouble, and if anyone even thought to mess with her bike, well, she'd have nothing against knocking the hell out of them to make them back of if she needed. She just hoped no one would disturb her meal in such a stupid manner.

Standing not far from what looked like his truck Lance gave the park a quick scan before he moved closer, watching these humans as they walked, talked, and few playing or just doing there own thing. It made him a bit curious to how any of them could be so carefree as if there was really nothing to be worried about. {"What use can this planet be to transformers like us? These humans hardly seem a threat."} He thought to himself but knew better then to judge a book by it's cover.
Turning his head slightly he noticed Victoria but didn't bother her since she seemed to be busy eating. Though if she did happen to look up she would notice his eyes were mismatched, one brown and the other a dark blue. Though this was the fact Firelaunch's true form had a red and blue optic which affected his human holo-form.Sighing a bit he looked back at the park still deep in thought of why he was remaining there though he had been quite bored so coming to a random park had seemed a good idea but now he wasn't so sure.

The redhead seemed rather aware of those around, glancing about from time to time though it was only eye movement, not motion of her head, subtle, but effective enough for her purposes. She did notice the amber haired man not too far away, the fact his eyes were mismatched made her gaze linger for a mere moment before she returned to eating. She made shot work of that however before crumpling up the wrappers for her food and glancing for a trashcan. She then smirked slightly, the only visible one being behind that red truck, oh well, it wasn't too hard of a throw to make and she figured the reaction from the guy would be amusing enough. She stood to her full 6'1" of height and simply tossed the trash, tightly bundled up, up and over the red truck, landing it in the garbage can behind the vehicle before beginning to check over her bike a bit, figuring, while she was stopped a one over would be a good idea after such a lengthy trip.

"Nice shot."Lance said as he looked at her but knew she might not be aware that he had seen her. Though that didn't mean he'd reveal himself but let her assume he had watched when his back really had been turned. Be kind of odd to explain eyes in the back of your head, or this care your truck and of being an alien robot from another planet though he was a bit curious to who she was. Turning his gaze towards where Victoria had thrown to the garbage can he smiled,"Not even half the guys can shoot over a truck like this."

Vic smirked slightly at that, checking the transmission fluid levels on her bike, something hadn't sounded quite right on the way here "Thanks I guess. Though throwin' trash ain't exactly a los' art. Should see what I can do with a knife." she said looking over to him, a small half smile on her lips, she hadn't meant that in any kind of threatening way, simply a small brag, nothing major. "Chimera-ism, your eyes, uncommon trait that. Normally caused by a stray segment of DNA fusing with the affected area, technically a mutation, but a damned cool one." she said, hoping it came off as the return complement she intended it to be. She sighed slightly as she looked at the dip stick for the transmission fluid. She would need to change that out before going to the next town, that color was not very comforting, this also meant she'd need to completely clean out and inspect the reservoirs soon enough.

Lance smiled a bit,"A knife huh, wouldn't be surprised. Sure your quite a fighter too." He said though blinked as she commented his eyes and chuckled,"Thanks you could say I've always had it. Odd but makes for something different." He replied and watched her work on her bike wondering if there was an issue with it. Though it had been some time since Firelaunch had checked his energy left before he'd have to deactivate his holo-form for a bit and mentally face palmed as it flickered."So having some bike issues?" He asked hearing her sigh. Though he was having to keep a check on his energy levels now to prevent her from noticing a human suddenly flickering to life then suddenly gone and there again.

Vic: "Course you've always had it, it's kinda onea those things some people are born with." she said with a slight chuckle before shrugging and wiping off the dip stick, putting it back in place "Eh, in my kinda life ya gotta be a fighter, or ya don't survive." she said, the comment sounding a bit more casual than one might expect from the average person, spoken like someone who's lived it and may even be a little tired of it. She did however catch the flicker as she stood up and paused for just a moment, looking him over. "Jus' needa change my transmission fluid before hittin' the next town." she said, her arms crossing over her chest as she quirked an eyebrow. "Well, that was an oddity, I seem guys do a lotta weird stuff but ain't ever seen one flicker like you jus' did. Now you've got my curiosity perked." she said, keeping her eyes on him, was it a mere trick of the light? No, no, she doubted that, it was too detailed to be a mere trick.

Lance heard her all too casual tone, guessing the life she had wasn't the best to live but sometimes it wasn't. But he didn't pry on what had happened to her unless risking being offensive and likely an ass kicking. But his narrow a bit when she indicated his flicker and inwardly kicked himself for being careless. "You wouldn't believe me if I told you." He said shrugging but it was likely nothing would surprise her but it didn't hurt to be a bit cautious, and for several reasons for his kind.

Vic had to chuckle at his reply "Boy you'd be surprised somea the shit I've seen in my life, nothin' really surprised me anymore." she said walking a bit closer to where he stood, her head canted to the side just slightly, a smirk showing on her lips. She was certainly a fearless one, maybe a little too much so. "So, gonna explain? Or do I needa bug the livin' hell outta ya til ya give in? Or there are of course other ways, but let's not think bout that." she said, a tone between dead serious and jest, an odd mix to say the least.

"Quite a fearless woman aren't you. But no need for bugging me or other methods thanks."Lance said with an amused smile which his form finally flickered away completely and what looked like any ordinary truck started up, engine roaring to life for a moment before other areas started to move and shift, the tires moving, gears and parts started to create something humanoid before in the place of the truck stood a twenty two foot robotic being, dark red with some black. Opening his optics which were red and blue as his eyes had been.
Looking down at Victoria he stepped forward before he knelt down on one knee near her to avoid being seen right away and to look at her better. "This something you normally see?"He said being a bit of a smart ass though his voice was now a bit accented with a english accent though his lower face was covered by a battle mask.

Vic shook her head slightly "Nah, can't say that I have, but hearda ya kind, never got the chance to meet one of you before." she said moving to just walk right around him, trying to get a good look at him before coming to a stop and looking right up at him again "Well, it's official, ya make my ass feel short." she said with a small chuckle. "Very interesting indeed. And I must say, nice accent on ya too. Damn, I seen plenty cars but this really is somethin' new." she said before pausing for a moment, a hand coming to rub the back of her neck a bit "Eh, sorry, I'm ramblin' ."

"Isn't that the idea to make you feel short?" Firelaunch said with a small laugh before he watched her walk around him and looked back at her shrugging,"Eh no problem. People ramble, nothing too odd." He replied,"As for the accent I kind of developed it over the few months I've been here." He explained. Firelaunch though was glad Victoria didn't freak out over seeing a giant robot which most people would have despite of probably hearing of the transformers, thanks to the incident 17 years before with the Fallen. Looking back at her he had forgotten to introduce himself he realized,"By the way I'm Firelaunch. The human you met was my holo-form something we use to interact with natives of planets and in this case humans."

Vic gave a small nod "I would offer to shake ya hand but you could prolly engulf halfa my body with how big your hands are." she said smirking a bit "Name's Victoria, normally jus' go by Vic or Wildfire, that's my racin' name, either or works fine for me." she said looking over this massive metal guy once more. She never thought she'd actually see one of them, sure they weren't a huge secret anymore, she had only been a kid when the fight that took out some pyramids occurred but she certainly did recall the broadcasts. "Few months? So more of ya'll been making your way here since that big fiasco in, oh, 2007, 2010, something like that? Can't remember exactly was kinda young then an' all." she said as her gaze wondered a bit. So complex, she could see where every part of the car was that now formed his body, how it, oddly enough, all fit together. "Dude, as many cars as I've been under the hood of I never thought about how else they could fit together to form a living being, it is astonishing, how you're put together."

Firelaunch nodded a bit,"You could say we come and go as far as I know but I've stuck to a neutral ground. Pretty much been surviving on my own since I was young." He said though tilted his head,"Though I am not sure what all occurred here during those times, just finding bits and pieces of the broadcasts and all." Now Firelaunch couldn't help but smile at her last comment since it was indeed odd to see but when one looked they could see how their parts fit together and made up their bodies even though it would be hard to believe."Yea pretty interesting I guess, our structures allow us to choose almost any form and make a copy to match our style, a protective armor over our protoform." He explained,"So we carry more under the hood then your average car."

"Well, more less, big fight, some bozos went bowling with the Egyptian pyramids, tore stuff up more or less, some robotic guy made a big worldwide broadcast lookin' for some unlucky bastard before all that, eh, past is past." she said giving a small shrug "Ain't been anything that big an' high profile in a while I know bout at least, an' with how much I travel, well, I hear bout anything big goin' on in an area." she told him, moving to lean against one of the light posts in the park "Jus' tryin' to survive eh? heh, know how that one goes, been doin' the same since I was 17, almost didn't make it threw a few times." she commented, remembering when a shard of metal ended up embedded in her chest during one race, only to end up unable to be removed without killing her. "Hell, near died in this city once, but either way." she said with a small shrug. "It is interesting, though, in truth, looking at complexity, it's bout equal to how organic being are put together, all just a huge network of smaller parts."
