Newt looked at the building inside as she, Wheeljack, and Bloodshock made their way through the main hangar towards the med bay. Looking around at the immense size of the hangar that she was currently in, she figured this was probably the main chamber or something of the sort. She looked between Wheeljack and Bloodshock, still taking in the shock of meeting and befriending two alien robots from a distant planet. Newt figured that many people would dream of being one of the few people on the planet who knew an alien or had such a 'close encounter' with one. Despite the fact that the one holding her was supposed to be the dangerous one, she didn't feel very scared in the Decepticon's grip as they slowly made their way towards the med bay, where they were destined to meet the Medical officer, Ratchet.
The young blonde teen looked up at Bloodshock as he chuckled at her statement of Ratchet being a softie like Ironhide is. She was glad to hear that Ratchet was a well known medic to the Autobots and the Decepticons, and that he had a 'heart of gold.' She smiled and shrugged her shoulders, "I'm telling ya, He's probably just a big softie underneath all of that metal armor." She repeated before looking over to Wheeljack as he agreed with Bloodshock's statement about Ratchet, and even going as far as saying that he was the best medic on Cybertron. She felt somewhat bad for Ratchet as Wheeljack described how he always tried hard to save every life that he could, very similar to a surgeon or a doctor on the Earth. She listened as Wheeljack described the story of how Jazz went head to head with Megatron and showed no fear. She imagined the scene of a much smaller robot taking on a larger robot and didn't like what she was picturing in her head. Though she was glad to hear that despite the fact that Jazz had been killed, or what they call 'offlined,' that he had surprisingly been resurrected and saved, despite not being the same bot that he he used to be. "Thats so sad. I'm glad to hear that he's alright, but, I can only imagine what it was like to die and then be resurrected again."
Her thoughts briefly drifted to that of her parents, if only it had been possible to help either one of them when they were killed. Then she wouldn't be living on her own with no real family. She frowned slightly as the sad thoughts filled her mind, but only for a moment. She soon snapped out of her brief sadness as she noticed that they were heading down a long hallway, hopefully nearing the med bay entrance. She sat up in Bloodshock's hands eagerly, ready to meet Ratchet.

Bloodshock smiled a bit as he nodded, knowing Ratchet's reputation for being one of the best medics known on Cybertron, on both sides of the war. Though that didn't mean many Decepticons had tried to go after the medic himself and each time Bloodshock had heard he could hold his own just fine. Sometimes it just happened and in this war you had to be strong in order to survive otherwise you ended up in a situation like Jazz. Which some bots didn't get that second chance to live again and he could only imagine what the silver mech was going through. However he had only heard some of what had happened to Jazz but not everything.
"It's amazing he got a second chance at all, but I wouldn't have doubted that in some way Autobots are stubborn enough they can return if they get the chance."Bloodshock commented with a nod, but sighed sad.~"If only it was a chance for every bot."~He said softly, thinking back to his long dead best friend and the only one he had ever had during the war. Pushing the thoughts to the back of his processor Bloodshock looked forward as they walked, not knowing what to expect when the medic saw him but it was by habit that he activated his face mask and lowered his visor to hide his scarred face once more.

As Sideswipe was coming around the corner once more he noticed the burly mech and decided this time to skid to a halt, looking at his adoptive father with the hatred he felt and disbelief.~"How can you trust a decepticon Ironhide? He hasn't even made it clear yet that'll be joining us not to mention of what risks he's bringing! For primus sake he's a bounty hunter, for all we know he could be playing us!"~He said angrily, clenching his fists slightly as he shook in anger.

Ironhide snorted softly and nodded at what Sideswipe said. ~"Truth is, I dun trust 'im. But, if his Spark really does call t' an Autobot, what choice does he really have? Way I see it, his One is an Autobot n she's a loyal one. If he wants ta be with her, he's gotta change n prove 'imself t' the rest o' us. 'Sides, I know what it's like ta be where he is... I almost joined Megatron, but somethin' just didn't sit right with me 'bout his big plans he was makin' n I was right ta follow my instincts n join up with Prime. Some dun figure it out til later."~ he told Sideswipe honestly. He then stepped forward towards the younger mech, his voice softening a bit. ~"I know how ya feel, 'Sides, believe me. I dun like it any more n you do, but I also been 'round a while longer too, seen things ya ain't seen, so I understand a bit more n ya. Prime knows what he is, n so does Wheeljack. He may be a bit too optimistic sometimes, 'Jack ain't no slouch fer a fighter, I seen 'im throw down with Cons n kick their afts across Cybertron. He'll know pretty quick if somethin's up, n I'm keepin' an optic on Bloodshock myself. He turns on us, I'll help ya off line 'im myself."~ Ironhide assured him firmly. If nothing else, Ironhide was very much true to his word. Besides, Ironhide also knew there would be a paranoid glitch of a security bot named Red Alert watching Bloodshock very closely indeed, and at the first sign of a problem, Ironhide would likely be the first to hear about it as the Autobots' heaviest hitter outside of Optimus himself. Sometimes Optimus was just too trusting...

Wheeljack nodded in agreement. "Yeah, shocked all of us when we found him." He then looked over at Bloodshock thoughtfully, noting the sadness that showed for a moment and his Spark ached a little for the younger mech. ~"You're not the only one who's lost someone they love, Bloodshock. One thing we all have in common..."~ he offered softly as they approached the med bay doors.
Wheeljack then pushed the doors open and stepped through, looking around for a certain heavy yellow and red medic. "Hey Ratchet! Got Company!" he shouted with a chuckle as he moved further into the room. He knew how Ratchet was, and he knew the older Bot would insist on a full medical workup of every bot on base as soon as they arrived, whether they were Autobots who just made planet fall or those who defected to join them, like Bloodshock.

Newt nodded her head as Wheeljack confirmed how much of a shock it was for them to find that Jazz was still alive. She knew that loosing a friend was very difficult and it looked as if Jazz's death had deeply affected every Autobot, and his resurrection was met with happiness and relief that he was alive. She frowned for a moment, pondering the thought of her parents being brought back from the dead. She could spend more time with them. See those family movies that she wanted to see, spend Christmas with a family again. She looked to the ground from Bloodshock's hands with sadness. She didn't notice if the bots had looked down to see her slight depression, at that moment she didn't care. She was too focused on the memories of her parents and the deaths that they had both faced.
Hearing a dialect that she didn't recognize however, snapped her right back up. She looked up to see that Wheeljack had looked to Bloodshock and said something in a totally different language. She tilted her head slightly and looked between the two of them, hoping to catch some kind of a clue as to what had been said. That didn't work out too well, these guys were good at keeping some things to themselves. She lightly shrugged her shoulders, not enough for either of the Cybertronians to notice and looked towards the Med bay doors as Wheeljack opened them and stepped inside and announced their arrival by stating that Ratchet had company.
She tried to hide back a giggle, which didn't work out very well. She had remembered a couple of her friends doing the same thing to her on her birthday one year. She had been just barely woken up by her alarm clock when all of her friends from school burst into the room and scared the living tar out of her. She recalled screaming, flipping and falling out of bed and landing on her face. It got a huge laugh from her and her friends. She hoped that the same thing wasn't going to happen to Ratchet. What if the poor mech was just trying to catch a nap? Then all of a sudden three people burst through the doors and interrupt a moment's piece. She knew one thing, if she heard something loud hit the floor, she would assume that it was Ratchet. She looked around eagerly, sitting up on her knees and balancing herself by holding onto one of Bloodshock's fingers as she looked around the room for Ratchet.

Bloodshock looked at Wheeljack thoughtfully, knowing the engineer was right about that which was a sad thought all it’s own. Of course being a bounty hunter the black mech certainly was no stranger to causing death upon others, having gone after several targets in his function but had never known to the consequences it might have brought. Imagining it always made the job harder thus why he was always emotionless when he went on the ‘hunt’, but coming here he was hoping that would change. Of course this would happen in due time.
Snapping from his thoughts Bloodshock looked up as he followed Wheeljack into the medical bay, giving a quick glance around for a moment. It certainly was far more organized then that at the Decepticon base and actually looked like it was meant to help cybertronians instead of getting the gut feeling you were likely to be tortured. Shuddering at the very thought, having been to the decepticon med bay more than enough times, he tried not to think about it. And right now he wasn’t quite sure what to expect from Ratchet knowing of him defecting.

Listening to Ironhide didn’t do much to relieve the anger Sideswipe was still feeling but for the time being he forced it back for now, merely nodding.~”Alright ‘Hide I’ll trust you on this one for now but if this bounty hunter steps out of line once I’ll kill him personally, especially for breaking Notitia’s Spark. But I’ll also do this for her, we’ve already been at odds from this whole thing.~”The silver mech growled, retracting his blades and finally turning away from his adoptive father. ~”I’m going to go for a drive and blow off some steam, see you later Ironhide.”~ With that Sideswipe sped forward before transforming mid-run and speeding off like he always did, leaving the base without waiting for another word.

Ironhide sighed heavily and watched him go. He knew Sideswipe was upset and he knew why, but there was not really all that much he could do about it, though he wanted to help where he could. He also knew that sometimes a bot had to deal with things on his own, and Ironhide was never one to coddle anyone, even his own adopted sons. "Just be careful n dun do anythin' stupid, 'Sides... n come home in one piece..." he murmured softly as he watched the younger silver mech speed through the north gate of the base. With another heavy sigh he lowered his gaze and shook his head, turning back towards the hangars that housed the Autobots. There were moments he felt the urge to go for some highgrade, and this was one of them. But he snorted and pushed it away, choosing to return to the shooting range instead to ease his processor.

A grumble came from the supply room on the far side of the large room. "Why do I smell Decepticon company?!" Ratchet darted out of the room, a buzz saw behind his back - though it was not powered on because he knew Autobots outweighed the Decepticon presence he'd sensed/smelled. He emerged after a few paces, staring at Bloodshock who was carrying a human he didn't recognize. Then he exchanged bewildered looks with Wheeljack and the Decepticon, knowing that Ironhide and Sideswipe are nearby.
"Well this is new. It's not every day I see my friends waltz in with a Decepticon, let alone one carrying a human." At least they were probably undamaged since Wheeljack was in good shape, perhaps this was merely a peculiar, friendly visit. "Greetings you two, I guess? I'm Ratchet, the Autobot medic. " he said directly to Bloodshock and Newt.

Wheeljack shrugged and looked to Bloodshock, then back to Ratchet. "Well, Prime n 'Hide know he's here. Sideswipe's none too happy about it, but what can you do? I think he inherited Ironhide's grumpiness, honestly." he offered with another shrug. "This is Bloodshock, he's come to join us. His Spark kinda calls out to Notitia so it's not like he's spying for the Decepticons." he told his long time friend. "The girl he's holding is Newt, she's kind of a little friend he picked up." he added with a chuckle, then turned and extended his hand to Newt. "You'll need to move so Ratchet can give him a good checkup, make sure nothing's broken n whatnot. He's kind of a stickler about Bots having regular checkups, not that Ironhide ever listens, the grumpy old rust bucket that he is." he told Newt with a smile and a bit of a chuckle. He was trying to keep the mood light and cut the tension, at least that's what he was hoping for anyway.

The sudden loud and angry shout of a alien robot startled Newt and she cringed behind Bloodshock's finger before the medic even showed himself. Ratchet had just demanded to know why there was a Decepticon. She was a little bit more frightened of the medic now, and believed that maybe he wasn't just a softie like she had thought. She quietly quivered behind Blooshock's finger, peeking out from behind the Decepticon's fingers as Wheeljack began to clear the situation. She listened as Wheeljack explained what few events had happened while on the base. Then 'Jack began to introduce the two, first Bloodshock and then her.
She let out a nervous laugh and offered Ratchet a light wave, "H-hi." She replied quietly as Wheeljack extended his hand to her. She nodded her head as he explained that she would have to leave Bloodshock's hand while Ratchet performed the checkup. She carefully hopped from Bloodshock's hand into Wheeljack's, adjusting herself into a comfortable standing position as she looked back over to Bloodshock; between the Decepticon and the medic Autobot.

Bloodshock however didn't seem to even flinch when Ratchet darted out, half expecting the medic to be a little on alert. After all what Autobot in their right mind wouldn't be a little suspicious? Not to mention he also had Newt in his hand and the most he would be able to do is protect her with one arm while using his other for an attack of some kind if it had been required but luckily Ratchet seemed to realize there was nothing wrong so the bounty hunter remained calm as he had been, least save for the little run in with Sideswipe.
"It's nice to finally meet you Ratchet, your skills of being a medic even reach to the decepticon lines."He said in a friendly tone, hoping to help ease things over as he watched Newt make the exchange from his hand to Wheeljack's safely before lowering his hand and walks over to sit on one of the tables. "And sadly it has been a long time since my last check up so if there are any problems best to not be surprised."He added before retracting his battle mask and allowing his visor to slide up to reveal his scarred face to the medic.

He nodded slightly towards Wheeljack. "So a Decepticon is head-over-Spark for an Autobot? That certainly doesn't happen very often. Either way, I trust each of you to look out for yourselves and for Notitia for the sake of the Autobot cause. I don't want to see our security defenses weaken because we let some Decepticon start spending time at our base. It will make the humans wary too. Bloodshock, pardon for being judgemental and firm with my wording there, but you must know it is only a precaution we must take. And I as Chief medic do not want to see my friends get hurt where it could have been prevented." Ratchet raised an optic ridge, still a bit tense about the mere notion a Decepticon's presence was in the room. "In regards to your comment about my reputation, well, that's not the first time I've heard such comments but it does certainly please me to hear it once again, especially from a Decepticon."
Again, he hoped Bloodshock wouldn't take offense to it but he wasn't going to hold back his words. If Bloodshock was honest about his statement, then he would know Ratchet could be a bit brash, snippy, and/or firm with his words. Ratchet then turned his attention to Newt, giving him a smile. "Tell me Newt, how did you meet Bloodshock? You seem pretty comfortable with him, I find it surprising since most humans are leery around Cons."

Wheeljack could only shrug in response, watching Ratchet and Bloodshock as he held Newt cradled in his hand against his chest. He rather liked Newt, she had spunk for a human, and she was careful, though fearless. He offered her a reassuring smile as she greeted Ratchet, letting her know it was okay. He knew the medic's gruff mater-of-fact demeanor was just the way he was, and most Autobots were pretty used to it by now. He saw no reason to mince words or anything of that sort, and Wheeljack could appreciate that. He was only to happy to have the firm but kind medic on their side, no matter what others might say about Ratchet and his wrench chucking habits. Wheeljack usually kept himself out of Ratchet's targeting line, though he has been smacked upside the back of his cranial plating on occasion, usually when he managed to damage himself with one of his experiments. Wheeljack usually took the admonishments and good natured ribbing in stride though, he knew his friends cared for him, and for Wheeljack, that was all that really mattered. He could only hope that Bloodshock could come to be accepted as well.
